🤔 interesting- they are “grayed out” when I click them but they still work aside from the “camera profile” part. I didn’t do anything special to get them to work- but do know they appear grayed out as if they won’t work:.. but they still do. Weird

@@crabicurious Thanks for the response! Yes I see what you mean it works but also doesn’t work - it allows me to use ‘Mint’ for instance but after adjusting the amount it calls it ‘Adobe Standard’ Strange

@@crabicuriousI do like it a lot. It takes stunning photos. It’s the look of the photos. There’s something special about them. Beautiful black and white. I do use filters, the orange one besides the yellow and red, the most. Don’t have a green filter so can’t say anything about that. As said, I hardly used my color Q2 since I bought the Monochrom version.

You can change from JPEG to RAW in the first page of settings. Also all the film simulations are also setup as camera profiles in Lightroom so if you shoot in RAW, you’ll still have that flexibility

@ Thank you for the quick answer, I was more interested in the question of what RAW profile to use to photograph with the camera, when I have the RAW profile set, after pressing the "Q" key there is still the option to change the simulation and add e.g. color +2, highlights -1 etc., or after selecting RAW should I set everything to 0 and have Classic Chrome?

@@crabicurious oh wow, I was considering it between two coats of oil stain, but I only have an extra fine sanding block with a grit of 360-500. Not sure if it's worth it..

The 20 for me was unusable. Way too much. I used the 10 90% of the time. And since buying the Glimmerglass 1 - I only use that one. Even more subtle than cinebloom 10

Thank you! Sure - this was all shot in 1080p XAVC S HD codec - 24p 50M at 1/50s with aperture priority. ND filter used to keep it at 1/50s. Then within Premier Pro, I use the FilmConvert Nitrate plugin, typically choose the first look and usually have to just adjust the color temperature and that gives me what I'm wanting for 90% of the clips on the timeline. I'll then only tweak those last 10% that might be a bit over or underexposed or color shifted. Hope that helps!

@@emanuelmartinfernandez4710 Yes they do. I mainly have the Q and the M10-P with a 35mm, 40mm or 50mm, when going out in the streets. I would say that the Voigtlander 40mm f/1.4 is the most versatile when you combine the M10 with the Q. If I want to go lighter, I take the Ricoh GRIII instead of the Q. That camera is maybe the best street camera for me. But of course the full frame and the fantastic lens on the Q, has a fantastic look 🙂

Thank you! I had tried the Moment Cinebloom 10% and 20% and found them both to be too strong. Next tried this Glimmerglass 1 and loved it. heard good things about Tiffen's Black Satin, but aven't tried it yet. Is it good?

Honestly the Q is the one for me. I had fun with the M, but my favorite style is candid shots almost like Behind the Scenes documentary style… and that’s not really as viable with manual focus. This was also my first time without an electronic viewfinder and I found myself missing it.
