I got exposed to this genre by the music from Laurel and Hardy and The Little Rascals. Never been able to find it though.

Mio padre era in servizio nella sottostazione elettrica FS e non poteva lasciare il posto di lavoro per sfollare come la maggior parte dei Livornesi cosí insieme a mia madre e circa 1000 Livornesi rimasti sopportarono circa 100 bombardamenti con una bomba fortunatamente inesplosa nel giardino di casa a parte i quotidiani mitragliamenti aerei al mattino che i Livornesi sarcasticamente chiamavano lattaioli Io non ero ancora nato ma ho giocato da bambino nelle macerie ed é con grande emozione che vedo questo film specialmente il nodo ferroviario e la sottostazione elettrica di cui mio padre condusse la ricostruzione insieme ad altri 13 tecnici e operai

"September Song" was my grandparents favorite song. My grandfather passed away when I was 13, my grandmother is still with us and this song reminds her of him. They married in 1951.
