been doing this for like 4 hours and still dont have a gold coin lmao they mustve decreased the drop chance for the better coins. All the more worth my time cause less people will have the mount. EDIT: MY NEXT SIR PINCHALOT AFTER TYPING THAT, I GOT A GOLD COIN LOL OMG Wound up getting 21 copper coins and 2 silver coins before I finally got a gold one. Thank goodness i didnt get to the point of 75 copper coins.

Fished 20 minutes, got 2 Sir Pinchalot things and a gold coin from the second one. Previously fished 2 days in row with a pandarean fishing rod and got nothing

What level would you recommend a character to be in order to solo/duo this raid? Looking to get the mount you get from the achievements but you have to do the raid at least 3 times for that so might have to use alts to go through it as well since I don't want to wait 3 weeks xD

With the emtpy crap trap "trick" i bought the epic item on the AH and farmed the CRAB (the NPC Rare has a about 5-8 minute Timer). Fishing did NOTHING to me. I could get otto in 6-8 hours. Thanks for the tips and locations.

After 42 summons I got 3 silver coins and 32 bronze coins, not a sinle gold tho

just some general tips for video making. This late in wows life, I doubt that there is anyone playing the game that doesn't know about or has heard about this mount so maybe make that little history more concise for those that might still need that info. Also it's generally a good idea to lower the ambient sounds and music even if its just in your in game settings, so that there is less detraction from what you're trying to say. Perhaps a small script to stay on topic or better articulate your thoughts? All in all, solid vid. In general it might just be good practice to look over past guides and just condense them or perhaps polish them up and add any updates from the most recent patch if there are any. As far as I know, this mount got considerably harder to farm as of a patch update back in BFA. Apparently they accidentally fixed the ongoing respawn timer, so now you cant just phase or transfer into some dead server and see it already flying around. You genuinely have to have a player present in the zone in order for it to start the timer...I really wish I farmed it before that stupid update.

i did the run no mount but i was really after " Comet " the pet , i watched 4 videos no one got the mount i heard its a 1 % drop rate . Thanks for your clear quick video it was the best !

Great tip farming Sir Pinch a Lot! Worked like a charm. After a few hours I had fished up almost enough copper and silver coins to buy a gold. Then with only a few more to go, he dropped a GOLD coin for me! Great advice.

This made it a lot faster to get coins but I have had 5 Immaculate Sacs and still not got the shades. Is there some prerequisite to get the shades that I am missing?

I got stupid lucky first fishing pool i saw when i got off the boat to dragon islands was the Shimmering Treasure pool first cast golden coin and went and got the shades i dint even know what they where like cool toy ok :) later saw the mount in some videos and was like how to i get that. Never ever i have had this good luck on anything in wow. It was the first week when it game out so i dint know.

So i fish when im bored sometimes, no more then 5-10 minutes, just last night hit 100 fishing in dragonflight. But somewhere along the way i looted a gold coin of the isles. Wasnt aware of when, kinda just kept fishing lol. But is that just extremely lucky or normal?

respawn time of the crab cage is about 5 to 7min, i do recommand do the crab i got a gold coin after the 3th kill :D, in silvermoon you can buy the elusive croaking crab for about 660g ;)
