To whom it concern to everyone I am from New York visiting both places istambol Turkey n Kl I would give kl Malaysia number one n Turkey number 2 to live 1) any place if justice system is good country is good 2) Malaysia police is getting very corruption that must stop 3) Malaysia seem to me prejudice Chinese almost control all business and they corruption the systems to penetrate in public that must watch n stop 4) Malaysia is very developed Muslim country better then Arab n Turkey 5) I would vote for no 2 Turkey Istanbul is best place to live n enjoy police is so far good n active but I never saw on hwy but turkey has English problem but ppl are loving manners but Turk are Rude n proud ppl Turkish food are best n they rich ottomans empire history which they cashing out through tourism industry there is lot of Muslims heritage 6) in Turkey renting is big issue tenants don’t come out easy in USA same 6/9 month very hard to put them out in both countries 7) in turkey must rent to foreign ppl but not give rent to Turkish ppl 8) Turkish immigrants police is very active n very successful when they catch you no mercy but Malaysia police you give money any more then 50 Ringgit they let you go easy 9) Turkey is better then Malaysia because Chinese took over every job n opportunity in Malaysia then all look alike same nation n ppl immigration always confused 10) Arab are more prejudice nation they no humanity n morality dull ppl 11) in my opinion who ever want to move Malaysia or Turkey is best to rent apartments in high rise building for one year n then you decide where you stand 12) About Malaysia is one good advantage is English language every one speaks n understand because it was British slave colonial like all Muslims countries accept Turkey everywhere system run with government division n divide n rule by western cronies Best Regards Altaf A

Be very careful with buying Malaysia property - the developer might have a PLS scheme where you CAN'T SELL.

Earn in Middle East like UAE and get Saudi indefinite residence in 8 lakh Riyal. Or if you have more money then get MM2H

Mm2h is really overrated and very expensive, there are plenty of Southeast Asians that could give you a better deal than, I love Malaysia but it's not worth it anymore

What's the average price for a one and two bedroom apartment in 1) KL and 2) Panang?
Those over 60 years old will need to have at least US$300 cash to apply for the MM2H because they will not be able to get a loan to buy the property. Many new properties are unfinished or partially finished so will need more cash for the renovation.
Is it easy to sell properties in KL? How long does it take?

Can foreigners buy landed property in Putrajaya?
The entire MM2H is non-sense. One spending so much should get working rights plus permanent residency. You want someone to be heavily invested but give them almost nothing in return. There are better options to settle with similar amount with option of working rights and citizenship.

Should just be application fees and NO agent fees. Application should be simple and straightforward. Don’t see how the agent fees could cost so much. People are no longer stupid.

Those application fees are simply absurd. Money making scheme by the government
My concern would be the effect if the government decided to change the requirements during your five year period or to change the renewal requirements, or even the bank deposit withdrawal requirements in those five years! A person could be STUCK or lose substantial money! How can we rely on these government decisions?!
Nothing is set in stone. That is the reason you have to do due diligence and have a good thinking hat. Money talks everywhere. It is all a risky .
@marylmpaulson1855 Unfotunately you're right, but some countries make more unpredictable changes than others. Malaysia is one-of them. Even the existing rules are not clear. And when there are several requirements for significant financial commitments it's even worse. I wouldn't rely on places like Turkey or Malta either.
