    Hi Yoke! Fantastic to see such good Videos. I've a 1988 Bros 400 myself, a Dub now based in Tipp, but It's overheating and pitching water, It was standing idle for years and I've started getting it back to roadworthiness. I reckon that the Pump is knackered, so I'll pick one up from China (about €82) and exchange it, then look at refurbishing the old one. I'm looking at the pipe gasket too, your No. 91316-MN8-000 but what's coming up is 91315-MN8-000. Just wondering if you know if there's any difference at all between the two? Thanks for the Videos again! Regards Rob

    Yeah, did all that a million times, does not fix the problem. Want some other answer that says its something other than the idle jet being clogged, because it's not. I can fill the idle jet well with solvent and it will siv right through it. Rebuilt this thing with new parts 50 different times, putting it on and off again, with the same problem. Only runs on choke, and stumbles when you twist throttle. It's not the idle jet, pilot jet, or master jet. I replaced that whole jet with one with clean holes., and made sure fluid goes through all 3 jets.

    "Eco means you have to install the part 20 times over" .. love it 😆 Mine split for a second time recently (first repair is holding well) after having the car serviced, I suspect the tech wasn't very delicate with the hose. I was treated to this "Air flow too low" error (only known by reading the codes via ODB) and what was either limp mode or some other reason I was running about 20hp. This could only be cleared with ODB reader, disconnecting battery etc did not work. A temp fix and it is wrapped in self-amalgamating tape, but long term i'll replace it. But £85 for a rubber pipe is more than a bit on the dear side!

    • @Yoke.
      @Yoke. 9 месяцев назад

      Aerox is a slightly different engine. But anyway, if you checked the parts manual and all the shims and components are where they should be. Maybe it’s the rollers getting stuck, that would cause vibrations if they are not travelling properly. Check for uneven wear on the rollers.

      I’m glad you got sorted. You can drive like that for a little while, until you get the replacement pipe. They are not expensive and the new one from Honda seems a little better. I have a second video there with the upgraded part number in the description. Good luck.

      Thanks for that, may I know where you got the part please? I am looking and the part number on your second video comes up with a cost of £85. Is that about right?

      @@iain9670 I’m in Ireland and it’s about €90 all in here, so 85 sounds right. Honda sell this, but I have seen it spurious too. Can’t remember where now, it was a European site.

    The only way that's going to happen is if you put a 56 mm piston in

    there's no way you're getting 12 horsepower out of one of these engines you're not even probably going to get seven horsepower
