the fallacy with owning physical however is that for almost two decades now, internet connection is required to download the rest of the game. meaning that lets say the world ends and you’re hunkered down in a bunker thinking you’ll be able to play a disc you own but didn’t have the game downloaded before shtf. then well you’re just out of luck. Realistically you want the ROMS and game files saved in a mass database. Sadly there isn’t much real functionality to buying physical discs anymore aside from being a collector and maybe aesthetics.

In my stores it sold out before 3 pm the day it released and it’s also out of stock on Walmart online. It’s crazy cuz that’s not counting all the ones that bought it digital. It’s dope to see it getting g the recognition it deserves.

From my understanding they produced at least as many physical copies as any aaa game at release and it actually sold out, i preordered mine digitally, i haven’t bought a physical copy of a game since 2015 anyway
