These are literally the perfect skate shoe for me. Shoes like everything else are subjective to a point. I do have wide feet, not fat by any means. These are so comfy, the impact protection is fine with the std insole (170lbs build) and I skate transition and street - big slams

I got these. They don't need to be broken in. Took 'em out the box and skated them without any problems.

I have the 303 Boards x Jeremy Fish 480. Insane collab. All leather upper besides some canvas accents by the collar and tongue piping. The lack of tongue straps is a bummer. Also picked up the new Reynolds 480 remix. The tongue straps are a welcomed change. A little padding in the tongue and collar would also help with the fit and feel, imo. Not saying go to the level of a Tiago 808 or 1010.

I have to strongly disagree about these being a wide shoe. I went a half size up on the Vú Skate Shop collab just to get the width right. I don’t even have wide feet. There are wide options available in some colorways. Might try a wide (E width) in my normal size 10.

i got the 440 V1 a couple of years ago and still have them today and skate them (haven't skated much since i bought them) one of the best skate shoes i ever tried for real, only problem is that they were a bit too narrow for my wide foot, so the V2 could be perfect for me. sucks about the durability though i definitely feel like my 440s have been waaaay more solid and durable than previous skate shoes ive skated. I used to start seeing significant wear after even the first session on skate shoes especially with a new board, but these have been rock solid so far

i like nb as a brand, but not tried their skate shoes. my navy issued running shoes were nb, they were super comfortable.

This video was cool, Im recovering from a wrist injury so I feel so out of wack the few times I have skated recently. I like how you said to you its a hobby so no reason to push yourself so hard when it comes to trying a trick. Thats something I think every time I skate especially when it comes to learning transition.

I basically do my bigspin like yours I’ve gotten some with good pop a few times what I would suggest based on those good tries would be reanalyzing your pop shuv and using that pushing down pop instead of scooping really making sure there’s contact good 👍🏽 luck
