The pattern is very well written with excellent charted designs (highly recommended). I really liked the Woolfolk Far (very soft, light and airy but a breeze to work with for stranded knitting, perfect for garments worn close to the skin. If you decide to knit this year’s pattern over the summer I think you’ll find the mini skein hand died yarn set from Fiber Story to be a really nice option. I purchased this last year, it was made from 100% extra fine merino. I used Ciao Goo circular needles ( less slippery than Addi Turbo Lace, giving better tension with this soft yarn).
