Finished my reread of Know No Fear by Dan Abnett recently and this air of tragedy is perfect for the initial attack on Calth. The way orbital yards are burned by a purposely driven ship into its heart and how most of the Ultramarines flat out refuse to believe the Word Bearers are actually attacking them is tragic.

Blasting this at the gym i feel my flesh turning into steel and iron

I have listened to this so many times that it feels like an addiction, but one that speaks to the soul in some way

Parts of this reminds me of Ave Satani from the Omen films And other parts remind me of the score from Batman Begins & the Dark Kight Rises during the scenes with Ras Al Ghul, the League of Shadows, & Bane's backstory Freaking Awesome

After years and years of playing WFB and kinda ignoring 40k, few months back I got to this universe and I was hooked. I always playing this when I'm painting my Ultramarines army :)

Currently reading the Forges of Mars omnibus and this is pretty near perfect ambience, although most of it takes place on the Ark Mechanicus "Speranza" which to be fair is as close to a Forge World as one is gonna get without actually being on one.
