    My RHD ZJ recently had a stroke (both windows & interior door lights don’t work on the left side) do you think installing these cables might help or atleast troubleshoot the issue?

    • @LaterSlater
      @LaterSlater 13 дней назад

      Negative. Chances are you have a broken wire (or multiple) coming through the firewall to supply those things. These cables would be a good overall upgrade that improves starting and charging capabilities. But your issue is definitely a lost wire or ground along that left side.

    Please note that when a XJ gets lifted it gets suspension parts that have a higher spring rate than what one will find on a stock XJ. My girlfriend has decided that she does not require more than the 235/75R15 General Grabber AT2's, though the rear leaf springs need to be replaced. While on the other hand my XJ had a RE 3.5" suspension lift in which I swear that I can feel each pebble when I run one over compared to her XJ. Both of our XJ's do not have the rot that you show on both the XJ and ZJ in your content. Keeping in mind that the roads during winter are probably different due to climate differences and/or how they are treated and how long it remains. NW Washington here is very different from Kansas, as is Southwest. I actually wish my XJ was stock as every old vehicle is worth more than a chopped up one. Yet one can say at least it's got new suspension parts. 🤣✌

    I gave my eldest son my "Brushed Platinum" 5.2 '97 ZJ LTD. I prefer my 4.0 '87 XJ Pioneer. But then I really miss my 360 '89 SJ Grand Wagoneer. I figured I'd watch out of amusement. Regardless of Jeep, your best references are going to be the forums not RUclips or FB. Because if you want to do something, somebody else has already done it and you can say it's documented in a way you can do a search. No ill intent or disrespect to anyone. Keep information short and concise, provide good and clear visuals. Avoid loud and obnoxious intro's as music should be background effect else it's just a distraction. The focus is the vehicle at the end of it all. 😉✌

The AX15 is shorter and positions the transfer case about 2.5" forward toward the engine. Is there adequate distance between the linkage ends to shorten the rod by 2.5"? Thanks.
