    In minute # 1:29 of this video, the Sheikh said it's mainly due to emotions of negative experience that Muslims are rejecting/leaving Islam. In other words, it's their reaction to the negative experience. Sadly, he's 💯% right. And me abandoning the Mosques🕌 that are mostly Arabs was my reaction to negative experience I had with Arab Muslims. Which led me to meeting my God father (Imam Abu Qadir Al Amin). A black American🇺🇲 Imam. May he rest in peace. But remember. God says in Quran, chapter#2 verse# 216, Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

      Thank you for your comment, and unfortunately these are realities that we have to find ways to address. The Prophet Muhammad Sall Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam was very welcoming to people, regardless of class or racial status. If we ignore his behavior, we of course experience negative consequences. As a community, we have no choice but to follow the teachings of our leader, the mercy to all nations (Muhammad). His teachings is what ultimately saves us from misguidance, and we need to be cognizant of our behaviour with others, in full compliance with our leader's teachings.

    If someone tells you not to critically think about god, that's the biggest indication you're being lied to. Imagine a book claiming a transcendental frog named Bob created everything, and that book asks you not to think critically about Bob, but instead think about all creation (which the book says Bob made). Well gosh...you look around: a universe exists. That must prove Bob exists, right? Do you see how skipping the critical step of *having evidence Bob (a) exists and (b) created anything* caused us to "see evidence of Bob" even though none actually exists?

    • @Arifinlibrary
      @Arifinlibrary 2 месяца назад

      Thank you for your comment. Allow me to elaborate on this point. From an Islamic perspective, God's existence and power are demonstrated through the creation itself. The BEING of God, this is what is ultimately above and beyond our immediate perception. Thus, Qur'an says nothing is comparable to God. Nothing is like him. The assertion not to spend so much time thinking on God's essence ذات الله is from a time when theology was ripe with debates on this in connection to related topics ( God's throne etc), thus, the advice on observing creation. If we really want to know God, observe what he created.

    • @majmage
      @majmage 2 месяца назад

      @@Arifinlibrary If Bob says spirit-elves caused our universe, is creation evidence of elves? To me it's clear Bob is trying to prove Non-Evidenced Claim A (spirit-elves exist) by making Non-Evidenced Claim B (spirit-elves caused everything). Ironically Bob would need evidence of Claim A to prove Claim B. We have to know something exists before we can know it did anything. Well *if you value truth* then you should clearly see the same issue applies to your "creation" argument right? "Beyond perception" means we can't get evidence. This is a problem because *knowing requires evidence.* So without detecting (perceiving) a god in reality, we cannot know one exists. That's a problem because *if your goal is truth you must only believe ideas known to be true.* You must avoid believing unknowns or falsehoods. And lacking evidence -- being unable to perceive it -- means god is unknown. The Quran can say whatever it wants. *Saying something doesn't make it true.* Again, we know truth only by evidence. So the fact that you don't seem to have reasonable evidence (creation could only be evidence if you had evidence a god (A) existed and (B) caused "creation"), so you'd already need evidence of a god for this to be evidence of god) is why I hope you step back, reexamine this belief of yours and stop believing., Either that, or find us both some *actual* evidence of a god. Because I care about truth. If you can provide evidence a god exists then of course I'm going to believe that idea you'd have proven true to me.

      @@majmagepeace be upon you, since you presented yourself as a truth seeker I’m happy to join in with a couple of quick points that might be helpful to your pursuit: 1) Truth: What is truth? And what is absolute truth? Truth from a human perspective is always going to be lacking something, a shadow on a wall, that is affected directly by the chain of causes and effects which integrates from Adam until the last traces of ones DNA of mothers and father mixing with the memories of lifespan spent on this world. In other words, there are always going to bias. Mind you I’m not talking about facts, as not all truths are facts but all facts are truths. Thus, it only makes sense that for The Creator, The Omniscient, to hold and be the absolute Truth, because as the term presents itself, The Omniscient is He who has the knowledge of everything that’s happened, everything that will happen, everything that might’ve and could’ve happened as well thus covering the whole area under the probability curve. Evidence: We have to first agree that modern world academic empirical method doesn’t make sense to be applied when talking about the unseen or as a matter of fact, the unsensed. The argument of show me your God or make him talk to me is in itself a very stupid argument as this way it would make the whole idea of the Test of this life unnecessary. As if all the students had the answers of the tests beforehand it wouldn’t be fair to grade them and classify them justly. When it comes to evidence regarding metaphysical matters such as the existence of God, we are only limited to looking for signs be it metaphysical or analogical. In other words, whats presented in the video which is the act of meditating and pondering on the creation would in fact becomes a valid proof of a Creator only if you separated the academic empirical method of needing a physical sensible evidence and thought with your heart and soul. Picture it as an entirely different language or a medium of communication that requires you to use logic and opening your heart, because you know that you feel something that science cannot explain and this is why you are here. Lastly look at this verse in Quran (which I encourage you to read with an open heart): Surah al-Hajj 46. Have they not journeyed through the earth, and had hearts to reason with, or ears to listen with? It is not the eyes that go blind, but it is the hearts, within the chests, that go blind.

      @@Arifinlibrary The Quran says a lot of things. So what? The entire point here is verifying whether it's claim a god exists is true, and clearly we don't have reasonable evidence of that -- that's _why_ religions encourage people to think less! Worse, if you define anything as beyond perception, it's beyond knowing (that's what beyond perception would mean). So that doesn't help you prove you know a god exists (which involves showing you _know_ something, not that something is beyond knowing).

    • @majmage
      @majmage 2 месяца назад

      @@mosala2316 *Wrong.* Truth is defined as the set of facts about reality. If you aren't talking about that, you aren't talking about truth. Well when you call a person "truth", you aren't talking about truth. A person can't be "the set of facts about reality". So then because that's what truth is, it can only reliably be known by *evidence* (detections of reality). So either you have detections of a god, or you don't know one exists. Most questions are like 2+2 where ther'es exactly one right answer and near-infinite wrong answers. So if someone doesn't have evidence of the answer to 2+2, if they randomly guessed they'd basically always get it wrong. And that's why it's irrational to believe unknown ideas: because basically every time you're going to be wrong if you do that. Well our lack of evidence of a god means gods are unknown to us. They're a bad idea not worth believing. You know your "unsensed" argument is wrong because when I describe to you the Undetectable Anti-Deity Donut which prevented all gods, _you don't automatically believe it._ Some part of you realizes the truth: that believing non-evidenced ideas is unwise. This is _especially_ true if the idea is defined as unknowable (as beyond our ability to sense/detect) -- when an idea is defined that way, a person is basically telling you outright _they cannot possibly know this is true._ So if you're claiming to know a god exists beyond detection, you're literally telling me you cannot know it's true. So nobody (including you!) has a reason to believe it. None of this gets better by calling it a "test". If I tell you the Donut is testing you, well that's exactly what someone trying to convince you of a falsehood would say, right? So never believe people when they tell you things like that.

    I just needed to note: there's two different English translations of the Quran, ie; ( the Arabic translation & the standard English Quranic transliteration). - which the Arabic translation is more less an abbreviated vrsn, However, BOTH sharing the same concept (according to Al- Tasfeer reference) So basically, both should suffice As for all faiths being the same, Muslims were not instructed to carry out every injunction of the Bible, and it's laws, However, the Quran does speak of preserving the Revelations, ie; ( Ayats ) that came before it - which is paramount. For example; The comparison of the High Holydays of Muharram/Ashurah & Yom Kippur falling during the same month & season (both sharing similar Holyday rituals) including fasting, And the Ayats the that came prior. This brings back the point you made of "Perennalism" of the study Quran - (which I think is a good resource,). Although I'm sure it's wasn't talking about actually of " being the same" literally, - But sharing similar Abrahamic rituals & the same "Ayats" (Revelations ) regarding the Last Day events,- As well as both of our Gods being as "One". Surah 29:46 So Yes,... l would see why it would get much criticism ( likely by fellow Muslims ). Which lm also glad you've benefited from it as well yourself. So I'm sure it states all that for a reason.

    Im glad you raised this point. - Originally, ( According to both the Quran & Bible, ) All 3 Abrahamic faiths basically explains the same fundamental teachings of the Laws of God as you described, For example; Fulfilling the roles of Moses, & keeping the original Sabbath, ( sunset Friday to sunset Saturday ) & observing the original direction of prayer ( Jerusalem ) But parts were later changed by Muhammad,.... W/O Allah's consent Also, observing essential Holydays, i.e.; Muharram / Ashura - which ironically falls during the same month of the highest Holydays of Yom Kippur & Rosh-hashannha, & Sukkah (which fall during the 9th month September) also being the original month of Ramadan when the Quran was revealed to Muhammad. So there has to be some significance of both Muslim & Jewish holydays falling during that same month & season - so its not coincidence. But unfortunately most Muslims don't acknowledge Muharram & Ashura as a sacred Holyday, ( which indeed is unacceptable) I believe its simply because it relates to the bible;.. - something they rather not have much to do with at all anyway - even though it was still recommended by Muhammad. As for your referencing about "making distinctions" ( of the peoples of the scripture) and not fighting & debating with them on any issues that arose regarding Jesus;"... That right there pretty much echos Surah 29:46, if its not already in your notes there. But when one describes another Abrahamic faith as "erroneous" ( according to your friend Eldon) that constitutes "competition" You also stated in the past that Muslims wont be judged by the bible, ( although Quran itself speaks about Jesus being "The sign for the coming of the hour of judgement" in Sa, 43: 61 ) So if it dosen't apply to muslims, why would Allah even mention it in the Quran to Muhammad? However, you're free to believe what you like, but I suggest re-reading Romans 2:11-16 & Rev 7:9 if you actually believe in bible prophecy. We all have our own free will

    • @eldonorr9912
      @eldonorr9912 9 месяцев назад

      Wali, I don't remember the context of any statement I made that you interpret as "another Abrahamic faith being erroneous". Possibly, I referred to the Almighty speaking about the Israelites in Ezekiel 20: 24 "Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols. 25 Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgements whereby they should not live; " So, when the Almighty gives you statutes that are not good and judgements whereby you should not live, I suppose it's fair to say that particular faith is erroneous. But professors of both Christianity and Judaism through the years have misinterpreted and mistranslated Scripture such that both faiths contain errors, though they originated as Abrahamic faiths. Though Islam is safeguarded to an extent from that degrading process, there are certainly sects among those who profess Islam that have departed from the Quran and sunnah through similar means. The Prophet Muhammad even foretold such things happening, by saying that Islam would be divided into 73 sects, with only one among them being authentic! So, it behooves people of faith to make sure that they accurately follow the Truth as it has been Revealed, since humans are so prone to error.

      Thanks for your comment. ISLAM teaches that the great prophets came with laws, rituals etc relevant for them. With the emergence of Muhammad, the Prophet who comes for all humanity, the laws and rites change. Thus, in the sabbath example, Muslims don't observe that. In any case, for atleast one of the theological assumptions that forms the foundation for sabbath observance, we don't accept, as it conflicts with the Quranic presentation of God. Details on these issues are found at the following link. shamsuddinwaheed.blogspot.com/2021/12/a-deep-dive-into-false-ideas-regarding.html

    I found this clip to be very disconjointed. You start out by going over the Islamic and Jewish and Christian POV about Jesus. Then you randomly go out on a limb and throw a few Bible verses about the law. Then you jump around to finally defining what the word Messiah means which I feel like you should have put at the beginning of the video so we all had a more clear idea of what you are getting at. And then at the end you go on and on about what seems to be a non-traditional Islamic pov on Jesus. For some reason your videos pop up in my news feed a lot and I've watched a few. You seem like a very smart guy. But you don't seem very sure of yourself. It either takes you a very long time to make a simple point or you jump around like you did in this video. Some of the leaps you make in your videos are out right confusing. I hope you get it together. I like to hear more from someone like you that knows about different religions. Comparative religion is extremely interesting in these times particularly. I think we need more information and less 10-second sound bites. But you need a editor or something to help you. And for goodness sakes my man fix your camera framing. Most of your videos is your wall and ceiling.

      Thank you for your comment and advice. Regarding the video content, it actually doesn't contain anything too far away from mainstream views. All Muslims acknowledge that Jesus did not die on the cross. In another's video, we went into detail on some of the ideas in muslim circles ( such as substitution theory) and how that is not supported by Islamic texts. It is not necessary to believe that " raised" رفع be literal. The content of this video shows that the Quranic usage is saying that the reputation and respect of Jesus- upon whom be peace- was raised, rather than debased as was desired by his opponents.

      I understand that this video doesn't address that issue that's exactly why I asked the question. I'm no emom just the person with a casual interest in religions. All the emoms (sp?) I've seen have always said that Jesus was alive in some fashion, either with Allah, or they gave some other explanation. And they always mention the expectation of his return. Your commentary seems to suggest that something entirely different may have happened to Jesus. So I feel perfectly justified and asking for clarification. You made the statement so it's only right that you clarify it. I feel like you telling me to go read such and such chapter to answer my question is a blow off at worst and unprofessional for someone posting videos on RUclips at best. And why would I go watch another one of your videos when you won't even answer my perfectly legitimate question on this video? That doesn't make any sense.

      The reply was a bit quick. I didn't want to reinvent the wheel, this is why I referred you to the other video and the Qur'an itself. Yes, Muslims have differing views on Jesus death, influenced by various influences. As I understand the question, the Qur'an doesn't really say that Jesus didn't or won't meet death . It simply says he didn't die on the cross, and that God questions Jesus on the fact that people worship him, prompting him to basically say he ( Jesus) was not responsible for what happened after his soul was taken, he's not responsible for that which occurred in his absence. Again, have a look at the other video. I hope you understand our reply. Thank you.

    Weird that in a post about the roles of me the very first thing you do is rush to defend part of a verse that needs no defense BEFORE you even read the verse or talk about anything at all. The whole thing (lecture?) seems kinda all over the place. Unorganized thoughts. I don't know how I got here but I'm happy to be leaving.
