I know. What you do not see in the video is the 15+ minutes I take trying to get it off without using something sharp. I eventually figured out this past weekend that if I used a pick from my iFixIt kit, I can tear enough to pull without scratches.

Xbox only supports wired third party controllers now, for some reason. I think I posted this video right before the announcement from Microsoft. Luckily, I can still use it on my PC Xbox games. At any rate, to hopefully prevent anyone else from purchasing this controller who did not read the pinned post or video description, I have updated the video thumbnail and title.

If I remember correctly, due to the curve of the earth, above a range of 80 miles for an antenna is only possible if it is on a very tall structure. I would like for him to expand on the Tech Tyler concept.

Did you try removing the battery and give it a few minutes before reinsertion? If so, did you try resynchronization? The goal is to reset the connection to hopefully re-enable the feature. I have not updated the one here, so I do not have any experience troubleshooting.

Locked up, how? First, remove the batteries for at least one minute, reinstall batteries and resync. I do not remember if the PS controller had an internal battery or not. If all else fails, refer to the manual. Although, my only other thought is to sync to something else, then resync to the original device.

Depends upon how you are using it and the batteries. I used some Rayovac and they lasted about 18 hours. As far as lag, maybe 10ms at worse, but I generally never noticed any. The lag could have been from my rendering a video.

Nope. Oddly, controllers for PS4 only seem to work for it and the PS5. But, if the controller is for Xbox or Switch, they typically can also connect to PC and/or Android. With that said, for this controller specifically, I did try it on PC and Android before the PS5. So, maybe I did it in the wrong order?

I made this video before Xbox made the announcement about removing non-party supported devices. I am going to have to make a note somewhere, thanks for letting me know.

reason im asking is because i want to buy a battery pack for the dinsoo that has it own cover which is prob designed for the original xbox controller but i wasn't sure if it would fit so thats why im asking if they are interchangeable @@HNETechnology

If the batteries fit with the Xbox cover on, the rechargeable pack should be no different.

If you mean the app window, the full screen icon on the top-right. If you mean for the video recording window, below the minimize, full screen and close icons is a sub-menu to adjust the display modes. Otherwise, anything in the recording window can typically be resized by dragging its border.

It has been a while since I tested it. As far as I remember, it registered everything. It simply converts and transmits the button inputs.

I know that I am not the best RUclipsr out there, but insulting me does not get you the answers that you seek.

Since they are so inexpensive, they are meant to be simply replaced. As a LED array, they should last quite a while. Almost all of my auxiliary lighting is LED array and since 2020, I have yet needed to replace any.

If I understand... As far as separate windows, you simply add everything that you want to a scene. You control layers at the bottom of the screen. Click on the item, then move it up or down via the buttons at the bottom. Then, if you want to switch between entire scenes, simply click on the scene tab at the bottom right. I would recommend using the classic view with a single scene displayed rather than two scenes simultaneously, where one is "Live" and one is "Standby".

I got a two fan 3660 model and it fit fine. The three fan version will not fit. You just need to make sure that the version that you get has an 8-pin power connector and you will have to upgrade your power supply. The 3660 consumes a bit more power than a 1660 TI. The graphic cards use the same slot and once installed, an update of the drivers will be needed.

Unless you do not find a near constant reminder about power being off annoying, I would not recommend it. When there is no power being fed to it and its battery is being drawn, it will make a loud beep every 30 to 60 seconds.

Ya, probably because a new model is out. I have kept the last three phones in this line. I use them as cameras for video production, among other things.

I did not have any install issues, but Secure Boot was already disabled for another reason by the time I had installed the 3060. As far as the BIOS itself, I have updated it once since getting the 3060, issue free. If you already have a 1XXX series GPU already installed, just swap it and see what happens. In my case, a Nvidia driver update was needed for the computer to fully support the GPU, despite it allowing a video connection prior to the driver update.

Thanks for the reply and insight. I currently have a 2060 in the system as the OEM GPU. I had been a bit worried about the prospect of having to disable Secure Boot in case it led to vulnerabilities.

Try swapping them without disabling Secure Boot first. If it does not work, then you know what you have to do.

Tony here... What happened to your old router? If it still functions, are you able to connect it to the new router to maintain your security system?

@@HNETechnology I finally figured it out. I needed to change the new router's IP to a 254 subset to match all of my periferals but the DHCP of the modem it was connected to was not allowing me make and and keep that change. Once I put the modem in bridge mode I was able properly set up my router, port forward, etc. So now it's all good. Thank you for your video.

What do you mean? I showed the television with each of the three connection types. There was no screen quality difference as far as I could tell.

There are better Wii to HDMI adapters out there that do not make false claims. As far as PS3, I would check/change your HDMI/Component cable.

I have not experienced the call quality issues that you have, but I did have an issue a while back ordering a pizza using an app. Although, it only had that issue once.

@@HNETechnology maybe it's because most people don't expect the same standards on call quality that I do. Or maybe it was years of owning iPhones, but the Motorola phones were bad on calls. The apps not working problem didn't happen often but enough to be irritating. It was a shame I had issues with both Motorola phones too because I absolutely loved their stock Android take with all the Moto actions and the amazing battery life too. Motorola has potential and I could tell a huge difference between the G Power 2020 and the Edge 22. They're headed in the right direction but they need better call quality and really need to improve their update policy game. Right now, Samsung and Google are the top of that and Android in general.

I have heard stories from people that have transitioned from Apple to Android and not liking the experience. Apple puts in the money for that level of quality and you are certainly paying for it. I can say that with each version of the phone, it has gotten better. Back with the 2019 model, I had call drops and some apps did not work. Moving to the 2020 model, both issues rarely occurred. The 2022 model has only dropped once, in addition to the one-time Pizza Hut application issue. Anything that may have been ongoing, I just never noticed. Updates are rather frequent.

@@HNETechnology all android phones have a lot of catching up to do with iPhones. That said, android has a lot more customization and freedom than iOS. With Motorola, I do believe they are headed in the right direction but they still have work to do. From 2020 to 2022, call quality got some better and battery life stayed consistent. The Edge 22 phone was pretty solid but the last couple of months, I noticed more frequent call issues. Mostly lower than average volume especially to the ear but on speaker, my wife still said it sounded like I was underwater trying to talk. I tried calling my brother a handful of times and it either wouldn't dial out or it'd think about it and then not dial. Dropped calls once they connected were rare but the consistency started ok but spiralled over time. I might be inclined to think the Pizza Hut app is the issue on both the G Power and Edge 22 because even using that app or website on my s21 fe or previous iPhone XS had occasional hitches. Both Motorola smartphones I had started out fairly strong but kinda went down over time. I wanted to love it and in many ways I do miss some things about it. The Edge 22 was supposed to get bi-monthly security updates and when I sold it, it was on a security update that was about 4 or 5 months late. Usually Google Play scans and secures the phone so it might not be at security risks. When you combined my call issues, inconsistent performance, and also the security updates it just added up to be a major issue when totaling up the minor deal breaker things. I don't think everyone is as particular as me on what they expect from their phones and others might even be ok with all of my above issues. Motorola offers decent phones for decent prices but for me, Samsung and Google has the better smartphones in my general experience. I was an iPhone guy but kinda got tired of some random things plus not being able to set up my device my way. So I'm an Android user now but I'm not oblivious enough to think it's perfect. No phone is really.

I keep this radio with weather alerts hooked up to my backup battery, since itself is also a backup battery. When the power went out the last time, I had the big battery for lights and the radio for my phone.

During the second set of tests, I had this antenna running outside, facing towards the television stations 35 miles away. I should not need to hang outside a window to manipulate it with my hands. I can only assume that your local television stations may be closer to you than mine because I cannot imagine it working for any further away. I was able to confirm that a few people living in metropolitan areas with this antenna were able to pick up nearby signals. So, they kind of work.

I only tested this version. So I cannot say anything about a different version. If you want some good antenna recommendations, check out Antenna Man's channel. He is who I referred to when replacing this antenna.
