You have the ability to say and share what others want to but cannot. Our prayers can be answered yes, wait, or no. If it is a "no" answer, God's grace is sufficient for the individual. It's obvious that you love God and have a personal relationship with Him. As believers, we are saved, but still imperfect in so many ways. God knows each heart. Excellent presentation. Every person that has a personal relationship with God, and that is a choice, struggles with something. We are still imperfect people. God knows that. And despite all of our imperfections and unique characteristics, He loves us so much. It is so difficult for people to understand that each person is unique. We as Christians have an obligation to love God with all of our hearts and to love our neighbors as ourselves. What you have shared will help many in the church that struggle with sexual identity and also many people who are not faith based, but deal with this stigma moment by moment. May God bless you. I want you to know that I can agree and disagree so you should know that I actually do agree with you about this because there is people that just can’t agree on everything and I want you to know that is what I got from your video. And I want you to know that there is people out there that is going to disagree to I can agree and disagree with one person‘s opinion about God or the nonexistent of God and if you want to cover on that you’re free to do that if you want? So I want you to know that your right to me just kind of a video I don’t support gay marriage is not a hunter percent because God has honor the contract see I can say I disagree with morons because it’s all right for a man and a woman and a guy and a guy or a woman with a woman marriage so as for mirrors goes Jesus Christ has taking down the old laws in today. It is very legal for someone who is gay has their rights and privilege to have marriage with one another But ask for me I am not someone that will be closed minded and go on a witchhunt for people that is gay and say that they’re going to hell just for being themselves. I’m not going to take a Hayfork and hunt you down or hunt people that it is you know gay enforced beliefs and religion on someone and say that they need to repent other sinful ways And force someone to believe different that is in fact being forceful and wrong in my eyes because now that I can say it that I am one too. So you see the dilemma here that there’s people out there that can except people for who they are and there’s less people that just can’t like extremist Christians and I am not like that although that I happen to be I have it to be a biblical liberal list and a Christian and conservative one at that too so I’m open to other believes that it’s out there same thing for people who is not straight that must be gay so what I am not gonna take a pitchfork and have a a witchhunt on those dabs to be gay and that is wrong if you want to talk about this you’re free to make a video about it because I like to hear what you have to say about my comment

I'm glad that you're back! I started watching your RUclips videos over two years ago, and you helped me get over this societal separation between my faith and my sexuality. I always knew that I was gay or at least different from the rest of the guys that I knew. Even after I started to come out in 7th or 8th grade I didn't know how God felt about me. I was depressed and I cried and prayed that God would change my feelings for guys. My feelings never changed, and your videos let me know that it was okay to be different. You let me know that God still loves me. I am a sophomore in college now, and I'm excited for what the future will bring. My family isn't necessarily on board with my "sexual revolution," but I know that they still love me, and honestly, that's all that really matters. Thank you for everything, and I hope that you enjoy your senior year of college!

Second im a bi 31 year old man. and happy and proud. you can be religious and bi, i dont believe that a god in general would care what you are , as long as your a good person. and if your looking for a good youtuber to watch you should look up Rj Aguiar he as a channel were he dose ask a bi guy. If there is a god then you are what he made you to be. So embrace who you are and love yourself be the best Bi Christian you can be. I don't even know what I am. I feel straight, but I have had crushes on guys, I openly compliment beauty or amazing features regardless of their sex. When I was younger I experimented, not really sexually though. I didnt really like either of the guys rn in life I could really care less whether i'm straight or bisexual because I know God loves me and I left that issue in God's hands. If I end up dating a guy that would be a story to tell my future wife besides that Im like meh with my sexuality. I put straight because I question being bisexual whenever I say it. Im weird 😅

Thank you so much for sharing as a bisexual Christian. As I'm coming to terms with this part of myself, I've found a lot more lesbian and gay Christian voices, and very few bisexual ones, but it is a very different place to be. Coming out is a scary prospect, and I'm not there yet, so just knowing others are going through this is hugely helpful. It's difficult to accept a part of yourself that for so long you've been told is wrong; the self-judgement is still a big part of my journey at this point. So thank you!

Jonathan it is really nice to see you back. Something is wrong with my computer and I just spent over the past several days about 8 hours trying to fix it. The reason I spent that time was to be able to hear guys like you and your ideas. I am probably nearly three times your age and I agree with every word of what you said. The amazing thing is that you have already learned what it took me decades to understand! We don't need to, in my opinion, try to figure out 'what am I supposed to do' regarding any issue. I believe that we just need to be open to life and let it speak to us. I think we need to be open and to listen. Wisdom, God, the Universe, the grace, whatever we call it, will come to an open heart that listens. Thanks, Jonathan for coming back and talking. I'm 13, and born again Christian. I need help

Hi. I'm 13 a girl and bisexual, I love God I am a Christian, sometimes I feel awkward, I'm scared alone and I do what to do. I'm scared of liking others girls because of what the bible says and how my family says things about homosexuality so I never want to come out, two of my brothers know, some friends at school know and that's it. Seeing my other friends going out with each other and seeming happy, I want to be happy with who I am but I can't. If u can help I would like that. Thank you.

Jonathan, as an educator, I applaud you in your honesty and truthfulness in expressing yourself. I share most if not all of your thoughts today. I think Pride Week is an attempt to get things social and moral back into balance after being so out of balance for millennia. As happens in all counter-movements, at this point in time, it may appear to be overdone. But that may be necessary until balance is restored in society and morality. Thanks for your thoughts.

Jonathan, cool summary of your chapel talk! On most points of what your speaker talked to you guys about, I am in agreement. I am extremely proud of you that you are open to hear what he had to say; a lot of people have not even at an age that exceeds yours by 50 years, reached your degree of openness. Everything I say now is based on my education and life experience of teaching and counseling thousands of young people. From my viewpoint, I am in the highest agreement with your speaker when he says the relationship with Christ should be the goal of everyone who wants to be Christian. That goal though has NOTHING significant in common with dogma or doctrine. The only time Jesus ever lost his temper or showed scorn was towards those who thought that way [dogmatists and legalists]. There are books written about this, so I need to be brief. My counseling is in the field of alcohol and drug abuse. It is NO wonder that homosexual young people turn to alcohol and drug abuse when they are confronted with the hatred of many organized religions. These religions tend to be very conservative in their theology [study of God]. The Moody Institute has a very conservative approach to theology, much like the Catholic Church in its narrow interpretation. So, Jonathan, as a teacher, counselor, educator, and someone hanging with Jesus, it upsets me when someone [not saying this speaker did this] gets young people to think there may be something bad, sinful, evil, or negative about being homosexual. IHomosexual orientation is morally neutral. This speaker's approach towards all sexuality appears to be negative, another characteristic of conservative Christians. There is NOTHING evil about being heterosexual or homosexual. That idea that sex as sinful goes back to the myth of the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Way too much to go into here. I was a product of very conservative Catholic teaching for 18 years, all the way through graduate school. It took me that many years afterwards to realize how unbalanced and prejudiced that teaching was. I've taken hundreds of courses in theology and science, sociology, and education; have worked with thousands of young people, and just want to encourage you to think for yourself and as Aristotle taught "Don't believe something just because it is established, believe only the Truth." You, Jonathan, are on the path to do that. As an educator and a fellow traveler with Jesus, I am very proud of you. I am a 30 year old female bisexual. I have always been bisexual; I knew that I was bisexual when I was a kid. I was raised "Christian", and I attended a Christian high school. I read the Bible and I pray, and I sincerely want to be the perfect obedient Christian. Like you, I also love God/Jesus/HolySpirit. I have chosen to be celibate since October 2013. I have remained physically celibate, but sexual thoughts are constantly popping up in my mind. I wish that I could say that I am the idealistic married, monogamous, heterosexual, but I am not. I was married for 4 years, but we had problems and decided to divorce in March of 2009. So, now I also believe that if I get "remarried" it will be adultery in God's eyes. I currently believe that God wants me to remain single and celibate. I spent my teen years and my 20's in fornication, and even though I know it is sinful, I miss that lifestyle. I actually believe that everyone is "bisexual" to some degree. People like you and me, just may be the only truly HONEST Christians around. Lol God bless you, sweetie.
