Welcome to my channel! The name "Nuts and Twigs" for a vegan recipe site is a little tongue-in-cheek. It plays off a common stereotype that vegans and people who eat plant-based diets only consume things like nuts, twigs, and leaves-essentially, it's making light of a cliché.
That being said, while the name is cheeky, I hope you appreciate the humor and understand that this channel will offer much more than just "nuts and twigs."
Through our short videos, we want to debunk myths and offer plant-based scrumptiousness that goes far beyond the "rabbit food" stereotype. So grab your fork and put on your stretchy pants, 'cause you're gonna want seconds.

Risoni and orzo are basically twins-both are tiny, rice-shaped pasta. “Risoni” is just a bit bigger and is often used in Italian dishes, while “orzo” is slightly smaller and popular in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking. Honestly, they’re pretty much interchangeable in recipes, so whether you grab risoni or orzo, you’ll get the same great taste and texture.

I tried a similar recipe and the "bacon" was bitter. I will try yours.
Sounds good! As a note, tempeh bacon can end up bitter for a few reasons: tempeh itself has a bit of natural bitterness, undercooking can bring that out, and if you cook it too hot, the marinade can burn. Plus, marinating too long in anything acidic doesn’t help. To keep it tasty, try steaming the tempeh first, cook it over medium heat, and don’t go overboard with the marination time.
