To replace the battery, you need to remove the screen, which is the most vulnerable element, totally pointless. This is better thought out in the galaxy tab s4.

Thanks for the video, but I am willing to bet 90% of the people that try it with this method will crack that display the second they put that metal scraper in between the frame and display. Suction cups are way better for this, paired with guitar picks. These videos are good but do not show you the struggle of actually taking off the display. Seems like they rigged up the display already removed to show the steps, but if you are trying to avoid breaking the display (charging port or battery replacement for example) this method is very risky even for an advanced tech. Perfekt Video. Helped me to repair the tablet. Usb connector Was broken. And the glue that holds the Display seems to hold the Display again. No need to replace it.

Would be nice to mention that the keyboard could accidentally be pryed open instead of being lifted off the chassis , this simply obliterates the keyboard casing 🙄 Also the 4 plastic cables that deal with the touchscreen, 🤦🏻

TIP: If you don't have a hot air gun or heat plate you can heat a pan on low heat with a paper towel between it and the the tablet. I dropped my tablet and the screen was black unless I pinched the screen and backing hard at a certain spot. This video helped me pinpoint that it was the screen ribbon cable that had come unseated so I was able to repair it in about 10 minute.
