I am glad you are back, accounting can be a horrific work load, I know allot of accountants that have gotten out of accounting. So good for you, it blessed us with your insights on chess. There are allot of so called teachers or couches out there. But very few, so I would consider you in the top 2%. The tricks of knowledge, or cheats we called them in construction, giving you an edge and no one really could tell how or why. So thank you for pulling back the curtain. We out here really appreciate your passion for the game. May Jesus bless all that you do.

Interesting stuff as usual in your presentations, but i noticed that you have used the word:' boring' a number of times in your videos?! So, maybe it;s time we all went over to Chess960 games...yeah...for less memorization plus prescribed moves, loads of theory, and undoubtedly more challenging games, as Fischer hoped?!

The thing I like about your older videos was the intro music. Add a little video clip at the beginning that gets people wound up. Get them all situated before you get to the board.

Chess is solved as draw. There is this chess variant wherein white's e pawn is on e4 already as starting position. Played by engines for accuracy, white at most can only draw. This means classical chess is draw as well.

Knight on g6 is usually a really good piece in the Philidor. I usually end up hopping it to f4 to give white king problems

    I beg to differ that the Colle is a "very boring, drawing, system". After 1. d4 d5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. e3 e6 4. Bd3 c5 5. c3 Nc6 6. Nbd2 Bd6 7. dxc5 Bxc5 8. b4 Bd6 9. O-O O-O white wins about as often as in the Zukertort.

    • @SLChessDevelopment

pawn c4, qb3, Nc3 whenever the bishop comes out early. Take advantage of the weak lightsquares on the queenside
