2022 Tidewater 2300 Carolina Bay On Water Walk Through Duncan's Boats
The 2300 Carolina Bay has the same large casting deck and big bow flair as the 2000 and has cast net storage in the floor, fold up jump seats and 7 foot rod storage. The 2300 is an impressive riding bay boat that can handle big water.
We took this 2022 2300 Carolina Bay out on the Ashley River near the Charleston harbor, the boat performed really well. We were also impressed with the size of the boat with all the casting deck space, the three live wells and all the storage! Its a great boat for family and fishing fun that will give you many years of boating pleasure.

Not very good walk through. I only saw one live well I hope there is two. What's the weight the cruise speed max speed fuel consumption (gph) what trailer comes with it or is it separate. No info in that video at all.

nICE VIDEO ...i like to stay back off the grass bank where possible, 20-30 yards, so as not to scare the fish too. When fighting and landing a fish, I rotate my mirage drive in reverse to prevent being pulled into the bank and scaring off any remaining fish . Fish are pretty kiddish of noise, shadows, paddles, etc.

Zero fishing room in the rear. If you want a cruising family boat that you can pose and tell your friends at the sand bar that you caught a “Mahi” one time with your Penn Squall reel… this is the boat for you

I've fished off a 21' sportsman heritage. That's actually a family boat, but you can crab and fish off it if you want - I'm pretty convinced the folks trash talking boats for fishing don't actually go fishing :) If you like fishing and have some buddies - you'll go out in almost anything. We were catching on the 21' sportsman when the big boats were sitting and not catching. Nothing feels better! These guys have bled money into their gear and we are having a blast. You can wakeboard off it too, so fun for family later. And the fold out back seat is a hit on these boats with the rest of the family.
@@randominternet5586 uhhh I’ve owned contenders, sea-vees, and now have a Freeman. Those are all fishing boats. Your not taking that 21’ sportsman to go fish anything I’m fishing. We have 80-250+ mile round trips. But I’m glad you are happy with your boat. I’m not throwing shade on other peoples boats. I’m just saying, some boats are built for fishing… others sandbars. Sportsman boats are sand bar boats
@@cwill114 the sportsman is intendeds to be dual purpose so it’s not as focused on fishing. It’s plenty useable for plenty of game fish. Is it ideal no. But it’s not a sand bar boat because you say so. I will give you a little credit in that when they made the 322 they added the 2’ in front of the console and it should have been added behind the console.
The Seakeeper is a big deal because they redesigned the hull and did it right. Incredibly I've noticed most, if not all, of the big name builders haven't even bothered to do this. Is anybody working there? If so what are they doing?

I often use a colored bead between sinker and swivel which adds bling and protects the knot from sinker shock.

Creative but how heavy is this weight? It doesn’t look heavy enough for deeper water or stronger current. Why not just use a colored bead with your egg sinker? It will add flash and protect your knot at the swivel.

I had a BLACKFIN custom made in 1976. Chevy 454 straight inboard, full tower, cuddly cabin a d deep Vee. It was an incredible fishing machine for the Gulfstream off Miami and Key Largo. I even shipped it to St Thomas for a summer. These new Blackfins are even better. More versatile.
I bought some JJ ,gonna try soon, flounder season opens NC sept 1st.. Only lasts TWO weeks.

Thanks for the video, Mr. Jiggin'. "Sheepshead" (sic) is the eating end of a sheep; i.e., a sheep's head. What we're fishing for here on the Left Coast is California sheep head, often written sheephead (Semicossyphus pulcher), a species of wrasse native to the eastern Pacific Ocean. Keep up the good work at Coastal Angler Mag.
I've been catching monster sheepshead with mussels for 20 years! It's finally catching on. The average fish is around 4-4.5#. This bait weeds out the small ones.

what is differ between CC and CX?
The CX has a rear bench seat instead of the foldable jump seats. Also, there are 2 upholstered cup holders with the cx. However the cx loses a live well because of this. In short the cc is geared more for fishing first. The cx is more equal to fishing and family cruising and water sports.

It comes with a lot of decent options and is covered by a very good warranty, its not at all competing with a Pathfinder, Sportsman or Tidewater to mention a few...
