Loading, transforming, modeling and visualizing datasets in Power BI
This presentation is part of a module that discusses data integration in Power BI, focusing on combining data from multiple sources, such as appending and merging datasets.
The module also explored hierarchies, which organize data into levels, such as date or organizational hierarchies, to simplify navigation and analysis in reports. Users can drill down from a high-level summary to detailed data, enhancing interactivity and insight.
It also discusses relationships in Power BI, explaining types like one-to-many, one-to-one, and many-to-many, emphasizing their importance in connecting data across tables for accurate reporting. Understanding these concepts ensures efficient, responsive, and ...

Assumption testing using STATA
Просмотров 476Год назад
In this video we learn how to perform all assumption tests in STATA: - normality - stationarity - heteroskedasticity - multicollinearity - autocorrelation It also explains what to do when the results (i.e., p-value) is not significant. We use the example of India's macroeconomic data. Assumption tests help in enhancing the validity and reliability of statistical results in case of macroeconomic...
How to perform OLS regression on a time series dataset in STATA
Просмотров 766Год назад
This video is part 2 of our STATA module. See part 1 here: ruclips.net/video/9be3F0Gs-rw/видео.html In this video we perform OLS regression on non-linear data of India's GDP and other macroeconomic data using STATA software. This method is compatible with any version of STATA. It also shows: - how to reduce p-value to less than 0.05 - how to eliminate variables from a regression model - how to ...
How to create a trend line graph in STATA software

Video 1 of our STATA series- Line graphs are the simplest to generate using STATA software. In this example we use a time series dataset of India's macroeconomic variables to create a trend line graph, adding another trend line or removing a trend line from an existing graph. #trendline #graphs #trendanalysis #stata #macroeconomics #research #scientificwriting #dataanalytics #analytics #dataana...

    Great informative video, thanks! One question - if your ANOVA result is significant, leading you to follow up with post-hoc tests, such as a t-Test with some kind of family wise error rate adjustment such as bonferroni OR TUKEY ETC, why bother with the ANOVA in the first place? Couldn't you just run the t-Tests and adjust the p-values for the number of tests (as per bonferroni), making the ANOVA redundant. I appreciate for lots of groups this would be time consuming but is that the only benefit of the ANOVA in that case? I can't see how it offers any extra protection against type 1 error if the end result is to run t-Tests and report corrected p-values anyway? Appreciate any thoughts! Thanks and keep up the great vids.

      It is not necessary to conduct follow-up tests after performing ANOVA on a problem. We use ANOVA only when we wish to identify which group is different, or whether such a difference exists or not. If the result is not significant then follow up tests become redundant. Moreover, ANOVA provides the advantage of comparing multiple groups simultaneously, thus keeping error rate in check. T-test only compares between two groups. ANOVA provides better protection.

    how much important R square value as I am facing less values in my model but all other requirements like p value is significant. can I use this model or not to be mentioned in my research report? kindly guide

    • @abhigyanscolourfulworld1710
      @abhigyanscolourfulworld1710 2 года назад

      R square is important but you can work with a lesser value, like around 0.4. If its lesser than that then try to modify your dataset by removing a variable or adding a new variable.
