Over 15 years ago I watched this video and I was hooked ever since. It was also the 1st song I ever heard from Brainiac, and I instantly understood what they were making. Their music is so fucking genius! and so timeless! Brainiac will be played for many decades to come. RIP to Timmy Taylor he will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Went on many a road trip to isolated places I should not have taken it to...and yes, in hind site it was a piece of shit and to this day I still love the body design and the fond memories. I drive a Miata today, everything works and drives every day...but it has no soul.

The thing is... they weren't trying to be weird. This music is so not forced. It's inevitable. They had no choice. That's why it stands the test of time.

I had a 72 spitfire. It was a piece of junk when I bought it. It was junk when the tow truck finally hauled it to the graveyard. I sure miss that car sometimes.

Steve Albini did a session with them. The songs 'Nothing Ever Changes' and the cover 'Go!'. All three of their albums are engineered by Eli Janney. Kim Deal and Jim O'Rourke each engineered an EP.
