Got a baccer bomb from my good buddy PipeheadOR and some goodies from Mr. Snuff. Trying out Makla, an African smokeless tobacco and some Crumbs of Comfort nasal snuff. Little info about one of the strongest snus in the world: Siberia White Dry Portion!!!

I mowed this lawn for a customer who lives out of town. The previous tenants mowed it for the last time 2 months ago. It took some work, but I got it back in decent shape with basic equipment.

Went out for a ride and a smoke to reflect and remember America's finest. Thanks to benneisam (Benjamin Briar Pipes) for making the pipe.
RUclips led me here after watching some scything videos and by comparison this looks like a lot of noisy, smelly and messy hard work! My scythe would've had everything down and swept into easy to gather up rows (windrows) with just one steady pass and with little or no raking after as the unshredded "hay" is easily rolled up into a heap with just the scythe blade. A scythe always starts first time with little maintenance beyond sharpening; no trips for fuel and oil, and no hearing protection required (good luck dodging tinnitus🤞). It also can be loaded into a car with one finger! - I have sold my redundant petrol mower and weed wacker to free up valuable garage floorspace.

I go back and forth with pipes. I didn't smoke for about 3 years, then came back to it and it was better than ever. I just left my channel up but most of my videos were private for a while. Yoooo Gilbert! Glad you're still around. I was looking in my cellar and saw the Virginia Woods and the Orlik Golden Sliced and was thinking maybe we should make some London Fog. If I recall the blends correctly.
cort3079 woo! I was surprised to see you! I do 3/4 golden sliced and 1/4 Virginia wood. But play with the ratios bc I use luxury navy flake. 7.5 flakes. Then I use 4-5 grams 507 stoved Virginia and 515rc red Virginia each.
@@pipeheadOR Nice! I still have some of your London Fog you sent me in 2018. I like it! My VA Woods and Golden Sliced are 10 years old, so it would at least be interesting! I've never tried blending before.

I remember everything on a daily basis. With all the censorship and copy right shit killed off the spirit of the community. I still got old school Mississippi River stashed away brother remember how it was flying off the shelves and then they changed it and it was over. The new versions all of them don't have the magic. When I think old school pipe videos, I think OMS. The OG Godfather. I'm proud to own this pipe and I will be back for another when I am able. I have lots of old tins. I have a lot of tins that I've never tried too, so I totally understand! I think I'll go ahead and do the cellar vid. It will be good to have it documented so I can look back when I'm older. I'll send you some of the '97 CC when I crack it for sure. It's slightly different every year, but always a great pure Virginia. And with 30 years I bet it'll be smooooooth!!

Dave! It's great to hear from you! My brother is doing great. He has a couple of kids now, a boy 3yrs and a girl 1 yr old. He no longer smokes a pipe, but maybe he will rediscover it one day like I did. Yep, I remember all the orange lighter videos, Stu really got a kick out of those! Man, my heart is broken too about McClelland. I'm still bummed out to this day. I have 1 tin of Blue Mountain, but none of Balkan Blue, regrettably. I just can't bring myself to pay such high prices for the tins, but at least we still have GL Pease, Cornell and Diehl and others to stock up on. I wish I could have met Mike and Mary. I am going to try to go to the KC show next year in September when I have vacation time at work. Yeah, I love this old knife, it has treated me well over the years. I appreciate you stopping by! Yeah, it's hard to believe how times are changing, I never thought stuff like this would happen. I guess it makes us appreciate what we have a little more. I have always pronounced Latakia this way and then I heard in a video somewhere that it's the same way the locals in the regions where it is produced pronounce it, so I never changed how I say it, ha ha! I have paid premiums on sealed tins, but only because they were limited editions and aged significantly. I can't see myself buying any more discontinued tobaccos at highly inflated prices. I'll just enjoy what I have and reminisce about the good old days. Take care!
