In order to fix the start /stop issue // you need to replace the engine relay unit for start/stop function : I had a 2016 Qashqai Tekna version 1.5 diesel few years ago : it was only 25k Kilometres when I bought . It was showing stat/stop system warning . Nissan garage changed and put new battery but still having the issue in one day : Then they replaced the relay system with a new factory version . And it solved forever::

Thank you for putting a drawing of the measurements up …was on my sixth star and could not understand why it was never lining up correctly until I came across your video …watching numerous videos and they were all saying the same cut length in half using 5.5 inch along top of wood which I have been doing …I ended up annoyed with a star that would never meet .I never give in until I get it right..could not work out where the other half inch came from ..now I know and have a beautiful lined up star ….so ty

Well done Kiren because very few people actually know that very few home/house walls are actually straight and 90 degrees..etc.. there are other tools which measure these things for you more easily. But when all you have is a standard set square, why not.

Back in the day we bump-started cars with flat batteries! - don't know how you do that with a stop/start switch. Presumably it would work, nonetheless.

I just had same problem with mine..got battery checked , fine after 24hr charge. Altenator charging properly at 14.2 volts was told the battery only lasts 3 to 5 years. Replaced with new battery £150 , better than getting robbed at dealership. This happened twice to my car 5 weeks apart, started with key fob saying battery was low ….in fob or maybe car , who knows. Get a local garage free to test battery for all problems..good luck 😊

Could it do a floor? How rough the sanding disc?

I find Erbauer in general do a good range of quality tools for the diyer i have a number of there tools that i use quite a lot and nothing has let me down as yet , the sander is one of them , very good comfotable tool to use.

Do you have any ideas on how to cover the hole up on the dash.

A medium-sized G clamp and a file are handy for getting the calipers bak in.

Had this issue today with my X-Trail. Called the breakdown people. I would have put money on the battery being the issue. He tested the battery which was found to be okay. He did find there was a drain on the battery, however it will need further investigation to resolve the issue. For the short term I've bought a booster pack to keep in the car.

I had the same issue with 2019 Xtrail. Charging the battery fixed the issue but 'Stop/Start System Fault' warning message was still showing. Took it to 'IN n OUT' Autocentre, paid £50 and they cleared the warning message. They advised I replace the batter within a year. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the video I had similar issue on my micra got a battery charger from a well known car company and charged it for a little bit and it worked.

My xtrail tekna T32 4x4 got the same issues. Mostly when the temp drops down to 3° and lower after a bit of the drive the alternator seems to work after the engine is off. Got a battery pack boost just to jumpstart it but it keeps happening again after some time. Will try to buy a new battery instead and replace it since I think the battery is more than 6 years old and doesn't hold charge that great

The car you jump from should not be running, else when yours starts the Smart alternator/BMS can go wrong. My dash cam runs the battery flat (2015 1.6DCi Qashqai)

Used this tool for sanding down the antifoul underneath the waterline on my 31ft yacht and am well impressed.

Gooday mate. CON here from Greece. Same thing happened to me. Got my booster charged and off it goes. So no stress. By the way good idea to have a small booster in you car. Lifesaver. Excellent video by the way pretty helpful. Take care
