Seeing the G1 design feels weird, but it’s partly because I’ve gotten so used to Bayverse Optimus Prime. I won’t say one is better than the other, because I like both with no particular preference. But I can only imagine what old Transformers fans feel like seeing the designs from their childhood on the big screen

Honestly, like with Bayverse Crosshairs, I consider live action Battletrap to be the definitive design for him. It's absolute PERFECTION.

I wont lie, even though ive only watched these clips of the movie and i might be missing context, this prime feels weirdly stand offish and very distrusting. Like i get the typical "the humans dont need to fight in our battles" but this one is "we cannot possibly trust humans at all" which feels really out of character.

No one is acknowledging Liza's voice acting, it's very good. Her acting voice is different compared to her normal voice in every way. Honestly most of her lines, you can hear her as Liza and not Arcee but you gotta agree

Hank McLean is scary

His design isn’t as complex as Bayverse’s but I think that helps a bit. His size is also the most believable we’ve seen so far in live action which is great, though I’m just not a fan of mass shifting at all
