how much is shipping? I found someone selling battle partners boxes to me for 12,600 yen (80 USD) and they are about $120-130 on tcgplayer rn. I just dont know how much shipping is and don't know if the margins will be worth it after shipping on my part and tcg fees

ive started this too, im only 14. I started with about 500 dollars, and now I have over 2500 value in around a month. 500 is liquid cash, and I have about another 2600 in value (counting as 2000 considering fees, ability to sell, etc.) I want to know how can I expand from here? My current operation is either buying local collections from people who no longer play and flipping in bulk at auctions, or looking at auctions ending soonest on ebay for snipes. I also look for grading plays to flip. What else can I do or do you recommend?

Here's what makes no Sense to me. At $120 valued card purchased at $90 and after ebay's fee at 15% your walking with $10. Now considering you have To pay taxes too because it's 1099 applicable, you now are below what you paid for it and in the negative. These are some of the things no one talks about. Food for thought

Right Now Both English and Japanese sets are volatile. Future English sets will be in demand that both ETB, and Booster boxes will not be sold at MSRP. Like Pokemon Journey Together, Blooming Water 151, and Prismatic Evolution. On Jan 9 Pokemon center dropped the New Set Pokemon Journey Together, and it sold out, On Ebay Sellers are selling it at 200 to 300 hundred dollars. so the End Result is that the buyer will move over to Japanese sets, but now we are seeing those sets rising like Pokemon Battle Partner, the English version is Journey Together Right now the best thing is to look for low-demand sets like Scarlet and Violent base set, Paradox Rift, Right now everyone should be extra cautious about Japanese sellers when dealing with wholesale because some people got scammed, and lost a lot of money. For starters only, use Paypal Goods and Services. Because Japanese sellers know Pokemon cards are high in demand, the bad Apple will come out in full force to scam people. Right now English Distro, doesn't have anything, no ETB, OR Booster Box. Inventory is limited. Everything will be purchased in the secondary market. Great Video

I sold some expensive cards to international buyers back during the pandemic boom. I got lucky, never had any problems. But I will take your advice and not list cards internationally in the future if I ever get back into selling. Thanks for sharing your experience and giving us a warning. I never do international, i never do returns, if its an expensive order, get insurance, which is an extra 5 or 10 bucks. If it was never delivered, the shipping service is responsible. Seems like common sense, this coulda been avoided easily... plus yea it sux to lose 400 bucks, but if ur actual business, you should be able to eat it. Ive taken 2-3k losses. It sux, cuz i pretty much worked for free that month. But it is what it is

I'm from Europe and I do 0 business internationally besides Europe unless we talk about max $10. Always the same issues, no tracking, no proof, customs, extreme long transit, in case of damage the returns with extra fees. You name it it is too much effort you put into for cards.

I don’t sell international at all because of this exact issue. On orders over $200+, I always pay for signature confirmation as well. Do the best you can to protect yourself.
