How do u memorize?
As I built the project myself, I have to think about how I want to break up the song into individual sounds and parts. I then think of a way to map it out on the launchpad. From there, I proceed to actually sample the song, load the samples in and practice as I go to ensure it works as well as I hoped. I generally practice playing it after every new bar of sampling (4 beats) which means by the time I’ve finished making the project, I’ve already memorised the whole song! If I were to download someone else’s project like I’ve done in a few other videos, I have to take the time to watch the video, learn the location of the mappings, and a few other things too. Takes much longer to memorise this way! Hope that helps!
