Agreed, UK is way cheaper than Estonia for groceries, etc.
Hahahahah I don't see any financial benefits if you can't even open a bank account there, and on top of that you have to give them your finger prints please tell me you're joking.
Haha complaining about Estonia! Try Norway My friend! We dont Even Get the sun in the winter! Complete darknes🥲🤯
You got fjords
When I worked at the University of Lapland, people would have coffee in the morning, then lunch, then at the 14:30 coffee chat, then they would sometimes have a last cup before going home....
I fear that Canada is no longer the Canada it used to be because some foreigners don’t want to adapt to Canadian values.
We don't lack emotions, but we just don't like to show them in public. On the fines, the purpose of them is not to collect money or pay off the police, but to be a punishment. And to get roughly equal punishment to somebody who is a millionaire or to somebody who is a pensioner, it absolutely makes sense in my opinion to have the payment be proportional to income. On the coffee times, for many people, me included, NATO coffee also was a thing, a once-in-a-lifetime coffee moment when Finland officially joined NATO. Btw, the flag proportions on the video are not correct (the cross is way too thin). The law actually requires the flags to be to the specification, and actually somebody who uses as a Finnish flag a flag that clearly differs by color or measures clearly from the one set in the law is to be fined. I'm not making this up, it's the law 26.5.1978/380 8 §. I doubt anyone would fine based on a video, but the law on the flag in general is quite strict.
Similar to Alaska my home and warmer ❤
Brother your "game" doesnt really matter. It is all about looks and your bio energy/vibes.
Where are you from?
if someone wanna go Estonia to get pr and citizenship as a business /investor visa what is the process, which business is good to do and how much money need and other stuff please explain it
How is estonia for footballers
Kalsarikänni is missing.
Jep,jep🥱
Good video but go to a Finnish ice hockey match with Finnish fans. Especially in playoff time. You'll get emotions, You'll get emotions overload 😁
0:08 Your Finnish is much better than that flag or whatever it supposed to be.
That is a bit of a weird flag indeed
it's the inflation time flag, We had to cut back on the blue colour :D
you forgot pullakahvit...
One of the main reasons for excessive coffee drinking is the same as with excessive alcohol consumption. Prohibition. The crown tried several times to ban coffee, but failed. And every time it became more important. There was at least three instances when this happened.
Saunakahvi? Wtf is that? After sauna folks like to have a cold beer, ice cream or something _not_ hot to consume.
It's older thing. My grandparents drunk saunakahvit after sauna.
The cross on the Finnish flag is twice as wide as in the picture.
dude i swear the babys in the snow fact is so true like bro i can barely feel the cold if its like -10C bro like dude RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
My favourite weird finnish competition is heavy metal knitting.
The crucial thing about the baby box was not necessarily just the box itself, but that to get it expecting mothers had to visit (free) pre-natal clinics. To this day, to get the box you need to visit a maternity and child health clinic before your 18th week of pregnancy.
I think that goal was 9-1 or something like that so yeah not much celebrating at that point in football
Cool behavior does not mean lack of emotion. Example you told at the end is a joke
Saunakahvit does not exist
😊Teenjuojako puhuu. Kahvi kyllä maistuu aina.
@anneliseppanen9105 ei ole käsitettä saunakahvit
Everyone Who follow these kind of videos, welcome here To find out how things really are
Wife carrying race is just for fun. Every country has their own funny races.
Never heard of saunakahvit before :D
Neither have I. Before or after sauna one is supposed to drink beer, lonkero or juice.
Yes, not a concept. Usually after sauna definitely not Coffee.
@@suvikoivunen8752 Limpsaa lapsille - for kids.
Ha ha, your belief that we Finns are lacking emotions is totally wrong!! We just more calm in public.
Regarding number 5, we Finns just seem to be "content" most of the time. I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be due to our history as a nation that's always had to numb its emotions to survive under the might of a bigger country, like Sweden and then the Soviets. Even today, we're talking and presenting scenarios regarding the nation that keeps having issues with Ukraine's sovereignty.
Manan bhai can you guide about PR path from visit visas or any programme for talented individuals who can try for Direct TR or PR programme via skills etc. This video is mist please
But now in big sauna complexes people do wear swim suits . I loved Mustamäe health complex. Saunas are fantastic! I wish they had it in USA. Here is only few Korean spas in San Diego at least.
I was actually there on my birthday this year. Had a great time !
My Somali passport has been a source of endless frustration and disappointment. I've faced visa denials all the times, and a U.S. scholarship opportunity slipped through my fingers because of it. When I got accepted to a Canadian university, they bluntly told me not to show up with my passport. Now, after securing an Irish scholarship, I've been waiting for six months for a visa decision, missing my first semester entirely-neither a yes nor a rejection. I aspire to train as a better doctor and earn a Ph.D. in microbiology, but my dreams feel trapped by my passport. classmate back in the university in kyrgyzstan whre i graduated visit each other all the time . all i can do is video call them . if i try to visit my serbian best friend i will face 3 months of visa process . Now, my only hope is to work my ass off to save $100,000 for a citizenship-by-investment program, like in Saint Kitts and Nevis, to gain the freedom my qualifications and dreams deserve. It’s a painful reality, but it’s the only path left to reclaim my future. western people are so lucky. congratulation to you Manan
Great content. Thanks for the observations and tips.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, This is Sahidul from Bangladesh, Asia. I am a Civil Engineer with 24 years experience on Water, Sanitation and Environmental Engineering. I am willing to relocate in Estonia with getting a job. I am expecting advice and guidance. Thanks, Sahidul
I got your email and replied.
Mes as Latvian..... "Ahahahaahahah"
Manan Anwar understands us well 🙂 Allow me just one commentary. The reason why Estonians are a bit unfriendly or at least restrained towards foreigners is not that they are not used to them. On the contrary, Estonians (and Latvians) have seen more immigrants than any other European nation. Estonians almost drowned in the flows of Russians during Soviet period. It's only natural to become a bit cautious in such conditions.
I agree, although for the purpose of our discussions I consider Asians and non-EU ethnicities as foreigners.
Fwiw, I've found that both @Psych2go and @CrappyChildhoodFairy here on RUclips are fantastic resources for anyone who wants to better understand the effects of mental health and/or who needs to work through some things.
At least for blood sausage I can say that I do like them (may be not every recepie or every producers ones are good). But yes, as a matter of fact - very similar product is available in many countries. So far I like Estonian structure of a sausage a bit more - but I haven`t get to have a chanche to try too many from other countries. But I would not offer them for my guest from other country as only option! For me - merrage - it is just a made up rule. Actually it is a deal between two people and for my opinion it doesn`t need to be proved by third parties. (Please - don`t say that to my fiancee...:)). In Estonia as well not too many years ago it was bad for wemen to have kids and not beeng merried, I think that it is outdated rule and people have to have freedom what they are doing with there lives personal wise.
A part of Estonians' seclusion probably comes as a legacy of the Russian occupation. I was born in 1966 and I clearly remember that in the story of my parents and grandparents there was Estonian time, German time and the third one, which was not named. The children were not told the actual history as they could accidentally gossip in the wrong place. In the 1970s and 80s, it was no longer life-threatening, but it could affect the future course of life. As a child, I didn't understand why the Christmas tree was brought into the room a week before the New Year and the curtains had to be closed. At the moment, I understand the reasons for such a "mouth is for eating" behavior model, but I am sure that what I learned in childhood will affect me for the rest of my life and leave a mark on my descendants.
I am making a video on the ancient Christmas Customs in Estonia. I am sure you will enjoy it :)
Holy sh*t, we live in a frog-pond. That's my high-school classmate. What's up Taros? Keeping it real. Dude was a bodybuilder back in the day. Holy hell, the hands on that dude back then. Good to see you. We should meet up, maybe do a part II to this vid! Been a fan of Manan for, it seems like, decades. Great vid also! I love your questions Manan and would like to have these conversations with you even without the cameras. Men in Estonia is an untapped subject, but a very important one to understand since you, Manan, are advising students from other cultures that are arriving here. While I'm at it - Love your work, Love you, Keep going, HMU if you need an idea for a video or a cameraman or smth. Hearts from Tartu.
Tartu is still between 90-100k I think, but there are suburbs that are de facto part of Tartu that aren't considered under Tartu de jure. The fact about 1/5 of de facto population being students, is still accurate tho. I'd say there is like 110-120k with the suburbs + 25k Students or so.
😂 I was expecting this to happen. So glad fo have you here. Please DM me on IG so we can keep in touch.
6:00 wait.. its not normal? My friend has 17 dads, its normal here lol
As an Estonian, im surprised that all this stuff is that not normal
What is the range of salary the biotech industry gives to PhD scientists in Estonia?
DM
Why are native Europeans never asked whether they want mass immigration? Why do the NGOs keep putting pressure on the governments to accept more 'doctors and engineers' when that's clearly not what the public wants?
'Mass migration' and 'accepting doctors and engineers' are completely different things.
I'm not sure I entirely agree with the foreigners part. I'm pretty sure I speak for most Estonians if I say come from wherever, be whoever, look like whatever, even believe in whatever, but just learn the fucking language and you're very welcome. Also, be useful and 'steal' a job, there's plenty. Also 2, I personally prefer 5m distance : )
Thank You
Oh, does not want to learn Estonian.. Do we need such a multiculturality here? I strongly doubt. Although Estonians themselves a guilty in this that some foreign people do not learn Estonian language. Because Estonians so easily start to speak in English, older generation also too easily speak Russian with russians who have lived here whole their life. That is bad.
You've lived there for so long that you've even picked up a slight Estonian accent :)
True
