The great Graham Lear would only be with Santana for 16 more shows after this one, leaving the band after the end of the 1987 tour that September. Santana has never had a drummer since even close to Graham, or a band lineup as good as those in the 80's.

One of many Santana concerts I was blessed to see and participate in. Starting from 1975 in the Santa Barbara area. Mostly here at the SB Bowl. I came directly from surfing Jalama earlier that day. The weather and crowd were very low key this day. A wonderful memory. Carlos loved this place. He had family there.

From 1975 to 1988. I was on a constant Rat Patrol To see Santana every chance I got. It seems in those days after seeing the shear joy of rocking out with thousands of girls in halter tops in the outdoors sun shine became a total dance fest of the Mind body and spirit . Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo and the Greek in Berkeley California Santana concerts burned into Every cell of my body. Peace and Love forever. Mi hermanas and hermanos. Lorenzo McNally

Aquí Carlos Santana estaba en su nivel Top en tocar la guitarra ! con 3 discos en 4 años ambos con éxito total pare ese entonses ya salía en comerciales de celulares ,yo lo ví en el Angel de la independencia en vivo en el 2015 y tiene un sonido peculiar pero ya no es tan creativo ala hora de improvisar pero Santana sin duda es el mayor de los latinos !grande leyenda!
