As a videographer, photographer, and post-production specialist, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across multiple genres. I have a lot of experience that I am excited to share with others.
Through my channel, I aim to create a space where creatives can come together to learn, grow, and inspire one another. I know the creative world can be overwhelming, which is why I created this channel.
Additionally, I plan to share my own creative process and journey, providing behind-the-scenes looks at my shoots and projects. I believe that sharing these experiences can be valuable for others to learn and grow from, and it can also foster a sense of community among creatives.
I want to stress that my channel is not just for those interested in the technical side of things. It's also a space for anyone who simply loves watching and appreciating beautiful visuals. I hope to create content that not only educates but also entertains and inspires.

Sounds tempting. I started with Blackmagic (6K EF mount) then moved to Panasonic. Now, I am debating leaving Lumix. I want a camera system that has a unified color science for all its models and a ladder of models from basic productions to high end productions.
I felt the same. Even though black magic isn't identical among all models, it's close enough that it makes it easy for me. I've even found the S5 ii x and the 6K Pro actually match pretty well. Especially when you use the video assist. I plan to replace the S5 with the pocket 4k's this year and run only black magic cameras, unless I need autofocus and Blackmagic raw and then I will use the S5
@@jeremypope-levison721 I have a longer distance to go to switch systems. My Panasonic inventory is: 1 S5ii, 2 GH6, 3 GH5S, 2 GH5, 1 G85; HCX2000 and TM900 camcorders.
@@harlemwoodstudios i would go to mpb and trade in all of that except the s5 ii and get a 6k pro and a pocket 4k plus some ef lenses
@ that might be feasible. I already have 1 pocket 6K EF mount, a bunch of MFT Lenses (3 Viltrox adapters), L Mount lenses, EF lenses (Lmount to EF adapter).
@@harlemwoodstudios yeah i would definitely trade to mpb all of your mft stuff (except lenses and adapters), and get a pocket 4k or 2. And a video assist for the s5 ii
The journey has ups and downs!
Yes it does! But isn't that part of the fun? To see how you handle the downs.
Long live the journey, grind and success! The build makes you appreciate it and value it more. Keep crushing it!
Yeah dude! Makes you appreciate it more man. You keep crushing it as well!
Thanks for having me on! I hope my story can be helpful to some people getting started in the industry.
It definitely will! You have an interesting story that people need to hear. I loved how you have been doing it for only a short while. Hopefully that gives people hope.
Is the a770 better than the new b580 for editing?
I honestly don't know. I don't have one but I want to get my hands on one
Could i use this ram with this build i dont know anything about pcs but was told this was really good G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s CL30-38-38-96 1.35V
dude i bought a gh6, A YEAR AGO, and can't figure out why Panasonic discontinued it, and why it gets NO love, at all. after 5 years with a gh5, the color man, the color!!! some magic in the sensor. and now the gh7 with PDAF , and well..........................I see no one talks about the 6, and the 7 is impressive, but damn if I cannot bring myself to sell the 6, even though I got a super deal and would not lose a penny. Its not just the high res and all that. Even when I'm shooting lower codecs, the friggin' color, especially skin tones, is second to none. I even shot a band video recently, set my settings to please my eye, got home figuring I'd have to toss it into Davinci and correct things, and to my astonishment, the files needed NO fixing or grading. the 6 , however, is still, not perfect. IT has its quirks, and sometimes does not behave. but overall, it's a camera put together by a committee, complicated, moody. but when it behaves the files I get are delicious, in any resolution. Even the camera's still capabilities have surprised me, the 100 mp handheld mode, sometimes astonishing. 75 frames a second? unreal. and the sensor loves to capture stills...probably the fastest shudder press to accomplished task in all the mirrorless camera world. for micro 4.3, it's heavy, bulky with that fat fan, nothing like the comfy feeling of my gh5. but damn, it's a hell of a machine that for some mysterious and rare unexplained reason, was KILLED by it's maker. Good video. keep it up
Yeah its definitely a great camera. Most people don't love that it didn't have PDAF and people seem to care less about colors and performance and more about AF and sensor size. Its good to hear others who love the camera though!
What if they drop a 4k Pyxis?!?!
Id only buy if they have prores internally
i can't find them on amazon anywhere now.
Yeah i looked too and can't find them. BH has them but idk what's going on with amazon
Could you show us some of the graded footage?
You mean like the interviews graded? Unfortunately on this project the client doesn't like those being shown so I had to have my wife and BTS shooter step in, but I can grade those next time
Great Vlog! I've been watching your vlogs on a regular but I can't recall when you got the 600d. I remember you spoke about it in the last vlog, I think you were wanting a 1200d in that one as well 😆.
Thank you! I got the 600d i think in March or April. But yes a 1200 would be nice just for the extra power since apparently all my shoots now have windows or are outside
Just pulled the trigger on the Osmo. All because of this video 😅. It’s all your fault 😂.
Hahaha oh no!! 😅 😉 You'll love it man. Its makes the vlog stuff you do so much easier man. Can't wait to keep following along with your journey
@@jeremypope-levison721 Same to you brother! Keep up the good work.
@videopromike thank you!
Good video bro
Thank you man! These vlogs are challenging
Definately going to be using the Pocket 3. I had been using the zv-1 and Go 3 for most of my bts. Also can't believe you're in DFW! I saw the SMU bts, I literally did a shoot there a year ago lol.
Yeah go 3 is terrible quality. I'm so thankful for these cameras. Oh no way! That's so dope. Follow me on insta and we can connext
Thanks for this build and showing how it performs. I have been looking at the AMD side for my new video editing / photo editing PC because they run more efficient than Intel but it is harder to find details like the codec stuff on the GPUs and maxing out the RAM etc. without going super deep into the weeds. Most videos are about Gaming PCs. I just saw that micro center has a Ryzen 7 9700X combo deal for $429 with the Gigabyte B650 mobo and 32 ram so only $30 more than the 7700X combo and it runs more efficient and is newer so I am thinking i will go with that as it seems like a great deal.
No problem! I wanted to show how these things can handle actual workloads because that's what we care about. That's a great deal. The 9700x is way more efficient, wish I had gone with it.
great timing. My pocket 3 is arriving today! Well my gf's gift
I hope yall love it! It's crazy how good it is

For the same price SONY A7III OR LUMIX GH6 for filmmaking in 2025?
GH6 but that's just me. Has way more features at the price of the AF.
@ can ask you why?
@teox98 as I say in this video, all the features are worth it. You get like 100% more in the gh6 than a7iii and the a7iii AF isn't great, it overheats, no 10-bit codec, no opengate, no LOG really. The gh6 is the better camera if you don't mind worse autofocus performance, and a micro 4/3 sensor. But truthfully, with the price of a gh6, no one should be looking at an 8731 to get into Sony lenses and higher in bodies in the future.
Two thoughts--Open up the iris or ND--the second thought is take off the softbox on the 300 and use the fresnel instead. What slider do you have?
I had the iris pretty open, and stopping down on ND was a bit too bright. In this scenario I could have used a VND instead of build ins and might have helped. Point the fresnel without diffusion at the talent? Is that what you mean? Slider is the Accsoon toprig. I got it to work on my most recent shoot, I just was in a hurry on this one
@@jeremypope-levison721 Yes, you can point the fresnel at the talent. I do it a lot with broadcast national news talent. As long as it's not directly in their eyes and off to the side a little you should be good.
@@ballcapcameraman that would just be a bit harsh, but could try it next time
Since dehancer is trash, have you tried Film look creator instead in DR and if so, how is the experience for 4k h.265 422 10 bit and s5's open gate?
I have not tried film look creator. I usually use look designer as my secondary film emulation plugin. But I'm sure it would be fine
@jeremypope-levison721 I just installed the a770 and opened an existing project with dehancer pro in it and youre right that it wasn't running on this gpu. Good thing i had the cracked version of it lol and there is Film look creator now that can mimic some of the effects and does not crippled my system.
@janzelhill7234 yeah its annoying. I got in contact with them and they said they don't plan on adding support for intel.
@@jeremypope-levison721 well I hope good news with Intel for more driver updates and support in Davinci to come
Finally someone reviewed timeline scrubbing thru h.265 422 10bit in a770. I was looking for a review comparing this vs Mac. I know m4 is good but not better in some especially I need to consider changing operating system from windows to mac. Luckily, I recently picked up an almost new a770 for 224USD, GLAD I DID.
That's a great price! And I agree. I feel like there are not enough good Tech channels on Creator pcs. Tech notice is the main, but he leaves out a lot of important information
@@jeremypope-levison721 yeah Im a fan of technotice but there were things that were missing. I just installed the a770 to my old system AMD ryzen5 3600; DDR4 32gb OC 3200mhz to @2933mhz; GTX 1060 3gb. Although it wasn't fast as your build, my playback speed has been improved especially with color grading in it. The real difference is in exporting time. With my previous gpu, 1 minute video with heavy color grading except noise reduction took me at least 1 hr. Now, with a770, it just took me at least 5mins without cache files 🤡
Hey bro thank you for this video!!!! i just purchased this for my RUclips channel. I was using the old 8th Gen iPad for editing and had no room for a 10 min video 😅 so thank you bro
Course man! Glad I could help! Its definitely a weirdly powerful computer for such a low price
4K 60 crop on a fullframe mirrorless should be a thing of the past already.
THANK YOU! It's so stupid.
Great work!
Thank you for watching!
Casually hitting the bullseye first T was epic haha
Dudeee i know! I was like it was meant to be!
Thanks for the video. Can I replace the Amd with the i7 14700?
Theoretically but then I'd do a different GPU. But also that defeats the purpose of the budget build. My main system is a 14700k with rtx 3080
@ Yea True but I just happened to have one laying around and I’m looking to build something around it.
@@AHazan7 I mean then yeah, I'd use it and go with a 4070 ti super

How much would you say we’d need to spend to do some heavy editing?
What's heavy editing for you? Like what footage codec?
Ok so this is gonna be my first time ever getting and making a pc. In your video you said this would be fine for most simple edits. So I was wondering like what’s more advanced edit and what’s the power I’d need? Now the main reason I ask is because I’d like to start content creation and make a RUclips channel based around skits and vlogs. I’d also like to play games at a nice high frame rate as well. So I’m wondering if this would be enough or if I’d need more?
@acesolo8688 so in the video I try and show some harder stuff, but if i were to upgrade this I'd say a 9900x (12-core), with 64gb RAM would be better. If you're not editing h.265 422 10-bit you could go with an Nvidia GPU. I will say that I had to send my Intel CPU back on my main computer, so I have been using this PC for a little while now, and the only things that I would upgrade right now are the CPU and ram.
@@jeremypope-levison721 so other than that this would be perfect for gaming and RUclips content creation?
@@acesolo8688 yes 100%. I can play Cyberpunk in 1440p, Black Ops 3 in 1440p @ 125-150 fps. I think it's a great option, but if you have a bit more to spend, I'd go with a 9900x and 64gb RAM. Maybe even a 1 TB SSD.
I hear your concerns about making your vlogs interesting when much of your work happens at the desk. Who is the intended audience for your vlog?
Its hard to say. I'd say most are other working creatives wanting to or owning a creative business, or anyone wanting to work with their spouse. But also some part is potential clients so they can see what we are doing and potentially hire me or miranda to do work
@@jeremypope-levison721, what if you focused on potential clients and took them further into the mundane of our work, which is fascinating to them.
@bairstories have you had people tell you that's fascinating? I honestly feel like more creatives watch these than clients and I've been working on building a community of creatives and this is one way I do things. My job breakdown vlogs are more for clients so they can see the level of care and time I put into my shoots
@@jeremypope-levison721 What's mundane to some is fascinating to others who don't have the experience or knowledge. Also, RUclips may not be the platform where your clients are. It sounds like you are focused on building a community of creatives. RUclips is undoubtedly filled with creatives. So, continue doing your thang and make stuff you find interesting. I've watched a couple of vlogs, and the desk work didn't bother me.
I think this is more just to track my wife and my journey doing our business together. I've come a long way in 3 years but have no document or record of it really other than final projects, so this is more just to show what we are doing.
Ive been loving that case for a minute. glad to see a build in it.
Man its such an awesome case! I love the size and the handle. It was a pain to build in, but I do love it
Love this!!!
Thank you!
Can you play games on this?
100%. I play black ops 3 all the time. 1440p around 130-150fps. Plays cyberpunk 1440p fine too
My suggestion for the AF is to get a usbc to usbc cable and plug the S5 into the gimbal. Just manual focus with the Ronin focus wheel. For cocktail hour stuff, I find it ends up being easier to pick the subjects like that rather than pulling my hand up and tapping on the screen.
I mean that defeats the purpose of AF. At that point I'll run the 6k pro on a gimbal and run motors
I don't mean to be brash, but the point of buying a camera with phase detect autofocus for me, was to be able to use the autofocus in situations like this.
I personally love the longer vlogs I am an architectural student currently but I'm also a freelance videographer and watching channels like yours is very very refreshing as I helps me to understand the market and business from a different perspective. Especially following someones journey while I am on my journey. I recently bought my dream camera this year dream lenses and lights and truly now I'm just trying to meet my R.O.I goals. So far my camera already paid for itself so truly I'm absolutely greatful and blessed that I'm able so see the growth and progression. Keep it up, keep up the good work 💪🏾 I'll be watching 💯.
Thank you so much for this incredible feedback. It's always hard to know how to do RUclips videos, but sometimes I feel like I overthink. Love that you are learning video man! Keep it up and feel free to reach out if you have questions!
@@jeremypope-levison721 thank you so much you definitely have a subscriber, can't wait for more content.

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the watch!
The responses to this video prove that consumers have been conditioned by influencers to not hear the flaws. Relax people, all he’s telling us is what bothered him compared to his other cameras.
THANK YOU! These are all issues that I've personally had with the camera that have gotten in my way or made things difficult for me. I still use it a lot and I've made a review on the positives of the camera, but for people who do things like I do, which I know of many, these are major issues.
In the past I overpacked a ton, but most of my jobs are international now and having to fill in carnets has made me more precise in my packing. All gear has a space in a hard case and the only thing I go overboard on are high quality thin cables. Can never have enough short run Ethernet, SDI and HDMI cables. Generally all those go in a small box with a couple of spare decimators. Everything else we run as skinny as possible.
I can imagine travel jobs would need light packing. I've never done one but I'd love to@
terrible take. nasty work, dude.
