In the year 1959 elections DMK party won and took over Madras Corporation; that day started the indiscipline, corruption, fraud, encroachments, unrulyness, looting of government funds, bad condition of roads, streets, ruining of water bodies, illegal and unauthorised constructions, what not started in Madras thus our ancient city had gone to dogs.
