My favorite singer growing up in the 70s/80s. I think I’d be dead if not for her music. I’m hoping I can see her again in the Lord’s kingdom.

While she remained a great singer, post her collaborations with Moroder, things were never quite the same, and she never again hit the same artistic heights. Just listen to side 4 of Bad Girls, side 3 of Once Upon A Time or the MacArthur Park Suite - genius!

Donna had an incredible vocal range. A lot of these pop stars today have mediocre voices. That's why they rely on being half naked on stage, with lots 20 dances around them.

Donna Summer wasn't just the Queen Of Disco, she was pure perfect talent with a voice that has no equal. If your music collection doesn't include the Bad Girls lp, then you didn't have good taste in music.
