New job and I went got new testers in got these and haven't been able to work them out multiple bleeps etc your vid just helped so much thanks
When I test a light switch with the tester should it give me the voltage that’s there when I put one probe to the com and the other to L1??????? My tester is buzzing to tell me there’s power but the lights to tell me what the voltage is are not lighting up. Does it have to be applied to Live and Earth to get the voltage? I thought Live and Neutral would be enough to tell me what the voltage is, in fact any live circuit.
I did the exact same thing. managed to put my foot in the only unboarded section of loft. 🤬
Surely ALL hammers have a bevelled face?? Otherwise it would be a bit dangerous from bits chipping off the face, 😱
The continuous buzzing at first switch on when you touch the leads together, is the self proving stage of the tester so you know it is ready and safe to use.
