This was our first time on Rise of the Resistance in 2020 when Disney reopened after Covid. When we went back in 2023, we once again were hoping to get on the ride, but it broke down while we were in the queue. We asked to be let out because we had a reservation at Oga's Cantina, and they dumped us out in the pouring rain. Well, at least we got on the ride that one time!

This was our first visit to Michigan's Mackinac Island in 2012. We've been back several times since, but we thought we'd document our first time experiencing this very touristy but lovely island. During our visit, we stopped by the Grand Hotel, and walked the streets; Jen drank from the old fountain that she wasn't supposed to-don't worry, she didn't get ill.

On June 8, we attended the 4th Annual Bubbles & Brisket, which the NC F&B Podcast proudly presented! Ten BBQ pit masters served the most mouthwatering brisket and delectable side dishes, and we were fortunate to savor eight of them (check the video for the drool-worthy details). It was a fun month, but we realized after watching this we drank too much. So, we need to find another hobby that isn't all about the consumption of booze.

It was a wine club pick-up day, and on a gloomy Sunday afternoon, we picked up wine from each of the locations we visited. Our first stop was Rayson Winery & Vineyards for a tasting and picking up a case of wine. Then it was off to Piccione Vineyards to pick up three bottles there before ending our day at Medaloni Cellars for three more bottles of wine. Cheers.
