Tonight, after visiting the beautiful temple of Gunsan, I stopped by Byeor Restaurant (별식당) for dinner and tried chongju (청주) refined rice wine. It was nice and tasty.

Baengnyeong-do is the farthest west and farthest north island in South Korea. Just 9 miles off the coast of North Korea, it is the site of massive military tensions, where a South Korean ship was sunk. And it is also one of the most beautiful islands in South Korea. I visited in 2020.
