I feel very called out 🫣 it’s sooooo hard to be positive, especially around others!!! I finally took the first step yesterday and got the gym membership! I decided to make changes instead of complaining about being out of shape! One day and I already feel sooo much better mentally

I think we all can work on this, and it would make us more successful and better off financially if we just think “I can save!”

I remember being small and my parents stressing over money spent on Christmas presents and then when I got older they reformed how they celebrated and just only focused on giving to Jesus since it’s his birthday…not only did that save money but it helped to not let Jesus get lost in our traditions. So my husband and I haven’t bought Christmas gifts except Bibles for people occasionally.. I’m amazed at how many people get offended at the idea of celebrating how we celebrate, but it does save money! Jesus doesn’t want us to go in debt ever, but especially not in His name!

"The Secret History of the Credit Card" is a FABULOUS PBS documentary. Guess what the card companies call the minority of Americans who DO pay off their full balance every month? "Deadbeats." I cut up all my cards in the 90s and never looked back. Best financial decision I ever made!

Thank you! I’m glad you’re very disciplined, most are not! I’ve heard so many horror stories lately about how they never dreamed they would be In a credit card mess. So I decided to avoid the rewards of credit because I’m not so sure that I could avoid the temptation!!

Very good video!! I do have a credit card through Amazon so I get Amazon points and I do love it but we treat it like a bill and we pay it off in full every month to avoid the interest. It is easy to over purchase on a credit or debit card rather than using cash, so we definitely have to be cautious to not overspend! So far we don’t have a problem with it but if it does become a problem we will CUT IT UP!! ✂️✂️✂️
