Poteet Funeral Home has many years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Many times, families in the CSRA are reluctant to pre plan their funeral. Poteet Funeral Home wants to educate the public on the importance of planning your funeral for the ease of those you leave behind. The staff of Hephzibah Funeral Home are now part of Poteet Funeral Home. The merger represents a strong path forward for both funeral homes and amounts to better service to customers of both.

What about the Coast Guard Poteet? They serve(d) our country proudly too all over the world the same as the other branches of the military. Yes they are under the Department of homeland security now, but they still go into conflicts the same as others; may not be the same conflict but they nevertheless are hostile situations.

My father forced to me ask a county coroner for this even before he died. I felt like a vulture. I was asked by him to do this. This is what he wanted and what he received.

I just watched a family open a casket in the ground after 15 years. This helps me innmy belief cremation better.
Thats just horrible... Why would someone want to disturb the dead?
