I have used these traps and have yet to catch one. They plug the tunnel and dig around the trap. This happens on other types of traps also. In Minnesota.

Good Video. Set my first traplines today in Northern Illinois. It's been so warm there active. Had a fox den a few years ago and they left 3 dead moles in my driveway. Nothing eats them. All the foxes got hit by cars. I also throw the moles in the river maybe the turtles will eat them. I wish the trap had a visible trip indicator. I bought these to use when they go deeper in the dry summer heat. I also flood the holes pumping river water. That will bring the moles up for the worms and the my other traps seem to work better. I read they can dig over a 100 feet a day. Just 1 mole can do a lot of damage in a week. I caught 16 skunks since December. Mother Nature lighten up.

I would add gutting an animal with the skin on you have less chance of contamination of the meet, if the worst happen while gutting. Chilling over night would make breaking it down would make a lot easier too. But glad u grew ur own food… keep going 😊

You really need a better knife!! And why don't you skin, gut and hang the pigs up over night then cut up..much easier when meat has cooled and set

I figured you were new at this...Best way to learn is by doing it hands on. Nevertheless you made food for your Family !! 😊

I just found your channel. Although I am in the same growing zone, 8A, I am in NE Texas and FREEZING right now. So dreaming of growing peppers and tomatoes this summer is making me feel a bit warmer here at work. I just got an e-mail from Johnny's regarding a better Hungarian Wax Pepper they developed. They say it should be better for cooler and wetter summers. I might add that to my mix to plant later in our season down here to get a later harvest and maybe spread out the canning season. Hope you have a great season!

Thank you for the awesome reviews of these tomatoes. I''m growing some from both your growing list and not growing list, still figuring out what we really like and what grows well (I'm zone 3, 124 growing days). I say grow the spoon tomatoes (I'm thinking I may get them as my free seed with my Baker Creek order, if I do I am going to try them).
