CHP almost pulls me over! Newport Ride.
Me riding with my friend down to Newport beach. Ride ends just after the 405 and 22 interchange. I was almost pulled over by the CHP but they ended up not pulling me over. You can see them pull up in my side view mirrors after I turn and see them at 8:39.
Enjoy the video.

This is a video of how I learned to wheelie. I am not advising anyone to do this and am not responsible for anything or anyone attempting what I have done. Ride at your own risk! First wheelie is at 4:38

Mulhullond Drive: The Snake

On Mulhullond Drive and riding the snake a few times a little after Halloween. This infamous part of Mulhullond Drive is called the snake, its similar to a track and many riders have crashed while traversing it. In fact, that day 2 people crashed while I was there!
Halloween Night! My First Motovlog!!!!

My first video uncut of me motovlogging Halloween night 2017. For some reason my gopro cut the video before I turned it off and continued with another video. Since this is my first upload I don't know how to merge the two videos together though. I'll save that for a later project! Thanks for watching!
“Imma just, do a couple wheelies for ya” hardest bar
I have been pulling clutch all the way in then giving good rev and releasing clutch fast once rpm climb, When i try to do it on one fluid motion It doesnt quite work. I havent tried giving it gas first then pulling and releasing clutch before. Been practicing 3 weeks Im getting better (slowly) at getting it up consistently maybe 1 foot.
So i dont need to pull the clutch in all the way? Like am i supposed to pull it in just a bit?
Check Wheelie King 6, realistic FREE mobile motorbike game ! :=))
Is this possible with an r3😬
Probably. Just rev it more
Hi there! I’ve an 11 model R1. I’m using B mode, 1st gear, from very slow speed like close to 30 to try to lift it. But each time I power it enough the rear tire skids to the side. Is it because my tire is too worn out/slippery? Is getting a new tyre a primary consideration for practicing to lift it or is it my technique that’s wrong?
Have to be in the highest power mode. Many bikes with power modes don't allow it in lower modes.
do you pull the clutch all the way in? or half way?
All the way.
But it's a flick. So maybe 3/4th?
This is horrible… Teach them back brake control or they’re gonna eventually loop it!! It’s much safer bringing it up to balance point instead of chasing it like this.. Someone’s gonna hurt themselves
It's not horrible. It's helped hundreds already. And they shouldn't be anywhere near balance point yet. I also address this in the beginning.
I can do a wheelie now thanks to you!!
Great!!! Glad I could help
So i give gas before i pull in clutch? Why cant i just clutch then throttle?
Give it gas and flick the clutch at the same time.
Always cover your rear brake always no questions no answers just COVER IT
Good point!
Blurs the image so we don't see the licence plate then proceeds to walk back around and not burr the image lol
RUclipsr: first thing you need is a bike Me watching with no bike👀
Great video had trouble with the wheel spinning and you answer my question thank you👏🏽
Glad it helped!
You use the rear brake when your going past balance point.
Great wheelie video. I’ll rewatch. Doing a couple lunges and calling it a day isn’t working anymore. Gonna go a lot harder now.
You can also break your head light stay 😅 lesson learned the hard way. Easy fix though
I’m going to blur the screen, so you don’t see my numberplate and then five seconds later he walks back past it and doesn’t blur it I was like nooooooooo broooo
Kept you interested though right?
everyone with vids like this are on like 600s + is it just as easy to wheelie say my whimpy 2014 ninja 650 the same way?
Yep. Just have to find where your bike is torquest
This was the best wheelie tutorial video I’ve come across
Glad it helped!
@@sportrider89 it did, I finally got them down thank you
As soon i saw this video and i just hit the subscribe button man he explained it so well ❤️
Great instructions bro, but i messed up and did exactly what you said not to do. I was doing the little 1-2 foot wheelies and got anxious to get it up higher then ended it up sending the bike flying 😂. Tore up the whole rear end but luckily i had sliders. Oh well trial and error. I'll get it, appreciate your video bro. I dont think iv seen a better wheelie instruction video on here. 🤙
Great video man. 🤟
Appreciate it!
One reason I want to learn how to do a wheelie because I do them too often without wanting to do one😂 I need some knowledge behind it
You can do it!
This is the best explanation anyone has given. My previous attempts were exactly as you described it at the 4:00 mark. I had hit that psychological barrier and wasn’t giving it enough gas. I wondered if if were RPMs or something else. You’ve described this the exact way someone like me needed it to be described. You’re a natural teacher dude. Thanks.
Thank you bro it means a lot!
BRO NO ONE ELSE REALLY WANTS YOU TO GET IT. THERE JUST FLEXING A GATE KEEPING. BRO THANKS. LIKE YOU TALK ME THROUGH MIND SET. JUST SAYING YOUR GOING TO GET SCARED AT THESE POINTS HIT HOME. AND FELT BETTER KNW YOU TOOK 4 MONTHS. IT GIVING ME TIME TO STOP RUSHING TO GET. IVE WATCHED ALOT OF VIDEOS. THIS IS THE MOST HELP FULL. IT CAUSE YOU REALLY WANT TO SHOW.. OTHERS COULD HAVE SHOWED THESE POINTS I WAS TRYING TO UNDERSTAND. BUT THEY GATEKEEPING 4 REAL
@sportrider89 why don't you make visa anymore brio?
@@danm1026 Idk just dont ride as much. Got my bike stolen 2 years ago then found it and havent been riding as much as I used to. Also life and idk what to post...Im really into golf now. lol
Painful to listen to.
Haters gonna hate.
Cant wait for my test next month think I'll buy a 250 crosser to get used to road riding before I get a super bike maybe one day wheelie for now sensible
*blurring so you can see my license plate* 10 seconds later: shows his license plate
you forgot to reblur the second time lol
"Eeuh car" 😂 me too bro
My first few attempts at wheelies were in 1st gear, getting the bike in the power band and then cracking the throttle open. The first 2 or 3 were cool… the last one tho, the bike went 12 o’clock instantly, my feet came off the pegs, and I couldn’t let the throttle go because all of my momentum was shifting to the rear. I remember thinking “Please God 🥺” and it was like God just pushed the front wheel down & said “chill out my boy” my eyes were big af I was so scared 😂 it was sooooo long before I tried again 😂😂
Yep gotta take it easy...no need to rev it up to the powerband. The bike is powerful. Think about it....1 hp is a horse....and a horse can easily carry you.
Do you close the throttle and clutch in? Or the throttle is always on?
Throttle is flicked to get the rpms going up when you flick the clutch. Then the clutch reengages, and you're still on the throttle slightly to keep the wheel up in the air.
@@sportrider89 I couldn't wrap my head around it. Rpm is maintained, clutch in (rpm drops) but fraction of a second, flick the throttle and throw the clutch out? Is that how it's kinda done? Appreciate you replying even when this video is 4 years old
@@leoheekent if you just flick in the clutch at the same time you (flick /rev) the throttle, you'll start getting it. AKA flick both at the same time and work your way up to more revving.
I've been practicing wheelies for a few days now I can raise it like 1 inch but the steering wheel often goes sideways do you have any tips for me?
Relax your arms and let the bike lift itself. There is no need to pull on the bike's handlebars.
good tips, but the fact that you dont wear proper gear is just stupid af.
Exactly what happens to me when I was learning lolz ,but I sold my motorcycle
Buy a new one!
Dude- Best all-around wheelie instruction I've seen online or elsewhere. (Period) 😎🤙🏼 Congrats on that and thank you- it's much appreciated!
Thanks thanks. Had to do it....too many bad explanations.
You know when you walk back around your bike I can read your plate clearly lol
To keep the bike up do you just keep giving more gas ? I can get my bike up but I don’t know how to keep it up
Yep have to take the bike back more near balance point if you don't want to continually give it gas. But I'm not taking that risk of crashing my bike like that. At balance point, you have to brake and give gas to keep it there.
Bike and clutch..... You forgot balls.
Do you burn your clutch doing wheelies?
A little but less than you would think.
I’m just hiding my numberplate 10seconds later shows numberplate…..
Yep, it keeps the people watching.
It’s day 3 for me today that I try to learn wheelies. First 2 days I tried doing power wheelies just to get to know the feeling and prepare myself. On day 1 I already managed to lift it off the ground just a little bit. On day 2 it lifted even more. Today I tried clutch wheelies, and one time it went unexpectedly high (in reality just about 10cm) and I was scared but very happy! I am going to continue learning! Keep it slow, brothers! You doing want to ruin yourselves or your bikes! Cheers for the lesson! Very much relatable!
soooo hows your wheelie progress going now!?!?!!?!?
@@gsxrguy I continued training for about 2 weeks and then I almost looped! After that I desided to continue learning after I get a training bike and some better gear, because by that time I was learning on a rented MT-07, so I didn't want to wreck it. I was doing all that while in Thailand for 3 months. This summer I plan to continue with better conditions and equipment!
I go by the sound of my bike
But then it could be too late.
We still seen your l.plates lol
I'm so glad I stumbled onto this video! I’ve been attempting to lift that wheel off the ground for the past seven days without success. Actually, I was only succeeding once every ten attempts and was unable to pinpoint my error. Considering I ride a Gixxer 250, I had simply believed it was the bike. When I push the throttle and almost simultaneously and quickly release the clutch, the bike jumps practically every time, as I figured after viewing your video. I’m grateful, brother! 🙂
Thanks. Glad I could help.
Mate you forgot to blur your plate the second time it was in view of the camera
Or did I???
Iv truly never seen a vid with so much fakery in the comments. Noone here knoes anything about riding a real wheelie. Js. This is wild
Do tell more.
U dnt even get half way to balance , you dnt know or cover back break and ur clutching up in 1st gear. Not being a dick at all but this isn't verry safe to tryn steer beginners in the wrong direction bc ur excited ab ur progress. You should be asking for help not offering it. My first peice of advice to you my guy. Move ur ass into second gear before you loop ur shitm its all the same but 100x easier play with it until u figure it out.
Then make your own video explaining it.
why did you blur your plate just to show it a minute later?
So that people stay interested. Lol
Did my best wheelie by accident. First pull on my new gsxr didn’t know it had a quick shifter. Grabbed the clutch at like 14k rpm and it popped up when I hit the next gear lmao. Tried doing a small clutch up after and was scared to.
