Awesome BatRap! Table and terrain looks incredible, as always. Nice mission! Hoping for more BatRaps… 🫡
Brilliant and thank you 👍
Great to see you back. Another excellent report on a great table. Looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you very much 👍
YES!!!! You’re back! Missed this!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you and glad you like the videos 👍
Welcome back! Small note: when fixed teams turn on an advance order, they can still fire, just at -1. Also the Germans in the Chateau would have been allowed to fight simultaneously with the attackers as it's an assault on a defended position.
Thank you and I knew I'd forget things, I had it in my head if they were fixed they couldn't move/turn and fire the same turn, lucky airborne figures there then.
Is a solo play?
Yes although it wasn't meant to be but things got in the way, so had to do it myself over a couple of days.
Gorgeous terrain as usual! Do you design the scenarios yourself?
Thank you and on this occasion it was a download scenario from Warlord Games, but the other videos are random ones I make up etc.
Great report 👍
Cheers 👍🏻
Great looking game
Thanks 👍🏻
Magnifique 👏
Merci beaucoup 👍🏻
So good to see you back!!!
Cheers James 👍🏻
Your battle reports are one of the main driving factors that got me into Bolt Action. I love the attention to detail and quality that you show; from the scenery to the individual models. It is pristine quality! Great work! Not a great fan of movement trays, but I can see how they are practical. TIP: The atmospferic shot you did with the lights out of the window was cool. Consider looking at small tweaks like this to enhance the atmosphere!
Wow thank you very much and I'm going to try and incorporate some more sound effects with still images along the way. I can't do proper special effects was I only use iMovie etc.
@@dazvanderyoung1911 Still images with sound clips are awesome:)
So happy you're back you are one of my most favorite channels to watch- very inspiring

Lovely table- the workmanship on that building is top notch.
Thank you very much its greatly appreciated 👍
I know is an older video, but id love to know the recipe for the us infantry shirts. Great color.
Thank you and hope the following helps, it’s how i paint my Perry miniatures US infantry. Undercoat using GW Zandri dust spray tin Paint on all the following colours and highlights (not flesh hands faces etc.) then Agrax wash everything to blend and tone it all down. Use an Agrax ratio of approximately 4 - 1 Agrax to Lahman medium Helmet = Vallejo Russian Green, highlight Vallejo US Olive drab and then top highlighted with GW Death World Forrest green Trousers = Vallejo English uniform or US Field drab and highlighted Vallejo Khaki grey Parsons jacket and gaiters = GW Morghast bone, highlight Ushabti bone then another top/edge highlight of GW wraith bone Webbing = GW Death World Forrest green, highlight Vallejo Khaki then top highlight Vallejo Afrika tank crew Spade = Vallejo New wood the highlight GW Zandri dust Rifles/wooden stocks etc = GW Mournfang then highlight Skragg brown & highlight top Cadian flesh then paint on metal parts of gun with GW Corvus black then highlight GW Lead belcher then top highlight GW silver or VA Silver etc. Rifle straps = GW base Knife/machete/sheath = GW Corvus black highlighted GW Castellan green and metal parts GW Iron hands steel Boots = GW Mournfang brown *****After the Agrax wash has been applied and dried then paint the flesh parts and helmet straps then use GW Riekland flesh wash to hands and faces etc. Flesh = GW Cadian flesh then highlight GW Kislev flesh then top highlight nose/cheeks/finger tips with off white. Helmet straps = GW Death World Forrest green Once the flesh and flesh wash are applied and dried I then gloss varnish allowing at least 24 hours drying time before matt varnishing my figures to totally protect them. I use Vallejo Premium gloss varnish and AK Ultra Matt varnish
@@dazvanderyoung1911 woha, thanks for the detailed response mate!
love this format, nice and concise.... and your table is amazing.... an inspiration!
Thank you very much indeed 👍
Your battle reports are awesome love your take on British and german force allocation (regimental names) may have to copy your style
your table looks beautiful! would love to play on it! Great video. I subbed. please consider to send one back my way. thanks.
Hello there. I watch Bolt Action battle reports for some days now and see that there is always a SdKfz 251/1 (possible a 4) as thow for the 8,8 Flak/Pak. But: the 8,8 was to heavy for the 3t Halftrack. So, isn't there a right option (SdKfz. 7) in the army lists?
Peter you are absolutely right and I only used the model 251’s as I didn’t have a painted model Sdkfz 7 etc. I think most other wargamers are in the same position and use what models they have even though it’s not historically accurate. For the record I have now got a Rubicon models Sdkfz 7 and it will be seen towing the 88 in future games 👍
Very nice!!! It's posible to know how you made the roads???
Thank you and I use cut up rubber backed carpet tiles painted and flocked. If your on Facebook go on the Bolt Action Terrain makers page and search my name and it will bring up various posts I’ve put on about how I make things in more detail including the roads 👍
Brilliant video ,organising a game with my nephew in May, haven't played for a year or two ,your video really inspiring ,love the terrain 👍
Awesome video! Great looking table and very good camera work.I liked the close-in shots highlighting the key and/or dramatic action each turn. Well done!
does point blank range negate the -2 to hit for being down? Otherwise it would have been a 6+6 to hit the Panzerschreck team in turn 3 and 4.
Absolutely quality. Thank you for creating and sharing. Subscribed.
Love your videos. One thing I'd really appreciate though, would be if you'd post the army lists in the description
Been 10 months buddy , I am craving one of your awesome videos to come out. Any coming soon?
why the germans are superb painted? i am gelous
Best report I’ve seen, love the back story, terrain is well done!
Golly, your scenery is amazing, mate.
beautiful table and units
New to bolt action and to the hobby. Your videos are a great example of what is possible. Wow, very impressive.
Great battle report. Probably the best Bolt Action BatRep I've seen.
😮watched and followed many channels but your subscribed from the first time watching
Love the massed tank type game! Please more, only I think you said tiger was had a "heavy" AT Gun with a +6 when it should have been a super heavy AT gun +7. Its the good old 88mm remember! Still nm , it was a very enjoyable battle showing how the numbers overcame the Tigers heavy armour. (Well apart from that dodgy worn out 88mm in the early Tiger Panzer VI (maybe the barrel was bent hehe) Really enjoyed it, and I'd love to see more. Even better would be a kind of "follow the platoon" through several battles and see how long they can all survive. You could do crews bailing out , there's a set of rules from warlord about bailing crews .
This a great video! Just started Bolt Action and found out a fair bit from this. Thanks.
Well done! Your terrain tutorial and explanation for construction is very inspirational. The battle report was superb. I was thinking that was the luckiest panzerschreck team of the war until its ultimate demise. And I was pulling for Sgt. Kane's Sherman. Sad to see him explode. Your game is proof that points should not matter. Historical battles were seldom even and those make for fun games indeed. Cheers, Paul
Brilliant bat rep and vid mate, had to subscribed after watching it all round excellent.
You've done an incredible job here, sir. Your presentation is superb, and the terrain and models are top notch. I look forward to more Bolt Action on your channel! Cheers, Paul
Stunning board. The buildings are fantastic. Just planning to get in to Bolt Action, and this is inspiring stuff.
where did you get the houses? they look great!
Very nice batrep, I would like to see your paint job: It looks great!
