Mines doing same thing, you have a broke wire somewhere, check to see if you have power in fuse box under hood it a 40amp fuse if you got fire there but no fire at the fan instead of chasing a broke wire run a new hot wire to the fans positive and see if you got fire to ccrm fan terminal if not run hot before ccrm but and now check and see if fan is hot now

aye bro did you ever figure out why the fan wasn’t turning on? you replaced the CCRM and said you were gonna hardwire the fan switch to the cabin, did ya do it? im in the same situation and really nervous

Just open the old CCRM and replace the damaged relay

94-95 is right behind the coolant reservoir tank in the front of the engine for those who are confused.

From what I have learnt is that although the diagnostic tool gives an error code pointing towards the CCRM, those CCRM's are robust and hardly ever fail. I have opened up mine and tested those 3 Bosch and 1 Omron relays. They all tested fine. There were no dry joints, but just to make sure I ran with new soldering over the points again. Still, the CCRM was not the problem.

I couldn't find the CCRM at LMR. Must have just been discontinued.

Always check your connector going to the fan for loose or coronation on the pins!

That cobra cleaned up well. Do u still have it. Whn I got my 97 gt back in 2003, I was actually looking for a 97 cobra. Looked for one nearly 3months and couldn't find one. Settled for my 97 gt that I still have. 180k and going strong. Not a 4v, but oh well, not stock either and not fast or quick either by todays standards lol, but feels refreshingto drive...Have a 2018 5.o too so I'm good. My 6th stang and counting.

What's a good price for a 97 convertible cobra in good condition?

Buy a tuner and you can adjust when your fans come on, tuners make a world of difference

Outstanding Video!!! Replaced the fan assembly, the coolant sensor, new 50 fuse ( there was a 40 in there ) and the thermostat on my 03 Mustang GT all within the last week and the fan still was not turning on. I was ready to put a toggle switch and turn it on manually when needed. Then I came across your Great video. I watched at least ten different videos about toggle switches And only one person mentioned the ECM/ PCM and they still ran a bypass. It's amazing no one else ( at least that I saw ) ever replaced this in there videos. This was extremely easy. Thanks a lot you saved me time and possibly messing up something else electrical in my car, and having a silly toggle switch in the car. Thanks keep up the good work!

Anyone know where the blend door actuator located

I know this is a little old, but there are 2 coolant temp sensors, one on each side of the coolant crossover tube. One runs the dash gauge and the other informs the PCM about engine temp. If that one is bad, the fan won't come on.
