Do u sell these by chance

I honestly don't remember. I bought that paint over 10 years ago for a wall mural. Pretty sure it was a Walmart reject paint. The airbrush paint is aquaflow Hawaiian green.

I used house paint for the base colors and acrylic airbrush paint for the details.

I attached conduit to the back. That way you can put rebar in the ground and slide the conduit over it.

I believe it was 5/8 not treated. Smooth on one side. But you can use what ever you want to use. May want to do a couple layers of white primer on treated wood.

Guess it depends on how you want to go about it. I paint T shirts mainly. I have an airbrush set up for every color. But just one airbush would be just fine, you will have to clean out between colors. I used water base Createx shirt paint for all of this. With a clear coat sealant to finish your good to go!

@@ejones2219 have gotten some minion templates. never have airbrushed just need to know and look into what equipment l need but not spend to much i know its practice and more practice

@@charlesgerlach7059 Minions are a good idea! I may have to make some of them! I use Iwata airbrushes, I have about 20 of them and have used them basically everyday for 15 years.

😆 thanks!! I feel like rolling the poly on did better than brushing it on. I think the flat brush kinda smeared it a little. I havnt tried this but you should be able to spray a light coat of rattle can clear over the paint just to keep any from lifting.

@@ejones2219 That's a good idea too. Wondering if I can airbrush the sealer. I guess that would be the same or similar as spraying from a can itself. Thanks for the reply. I hope you make more art vids ;)

@@michelepoli1847 I thought about using a spray gun like I use to paint cars but it would take a lot of coats to be thick enough. Yeah I really need to record some more paint videos. Thanks for your interest!

I use the Iwata eclipse. Been use the same airbrushes for over 15 years now.

Hey yeah, that's a good question! So the primer seals the wood and gives the paint a good white base color to start with. Also the primer keeps the (color) paint from soaking into the wood. The paint I use is waterbase acrylic, it will wash with water. The polycrylic is a "clearcoat" sealer. It keeps the weather from washing the paint off the wood. Hope this helps!

What kind of lumber do you use

I use a Prism projector by artograph. Ive had it for 15 years so not sure whats out there now days. I have used an overhead projector from church or schools in the past.

I dont have a pattern. I used a projector to trace the image onto the wood.

Where did you get the sleigh? Is that built or purchased?

@@gwenhooste2009 The sleigh was purchased. I never actually seen the sleigh, I was giving the dimensions to cut out the characters.

Hey thats great! Yeah the projector does save a lot of time. I airbrush for a living and any tool that can speed up the process. I would freehand everything when it was a hobby but doing art for money, every minute has to count for something. Good luck to you and thanks for watching!

@@ejones2219 I'm doing cindy and max, I do have to upgrade to that eclipse airbrush everyone seems to rave about it

@@eastcoastcrazy1 I like the eclipse, but its not a must. I feel that they all do about the same. I have about 2 dozen (eclipse) that I work extremely hard on a daily basis to make a living. But for an occasional project, a harbor freight double action would work just fine.

The airbrush is Iwata eclipse. Ive used many different brushes over the 19 years Ive been painting and this is hands down my favorite!

I'll see what I can do! I plan to make several up at one time this season.
