I’m touched 😭 y’all rock. But you’re right, do what makes you happy at the end of the day go with it, if you want the best of the best and can afford it, go for it, never push yourself or try to impress someone, you’ll only stress yourself out and quite possibly push yourself out of the hobby. I’ll probably make a video tomorrow talking about it, hopefully with out making people upset. But very enjoyable show and hope to make it next time.

At 49:00, to operate a locomotive is free, a donation is not required, but it would be nice.

I had the privilege of running the camera car on my last layout. I didn’t do it as live train running though, I just took clips of travel my full layout start to finish. It was awesome to use and wasn’t too tough to get going.

At 17:10 someone asked can you place it in a dummy locomotive… maybe someone does not want a camera car ‘LocoCabCam’ out from and would like the camera hidden.

At 11:40 Dennis was asking for a list of hardware… layout, dcc system, computer, JRMI, and access to the internet. Then just a lot of setup… Setup can be a bit of fun. But well worth it.

The future of this hobby is right now! holy cow this is really cool

I was going to say scotch double sided tape as well and then saw someone else already suggested it. It is super thin. If you look for it, the package is yellow and can be found anywhere such as Wal-mart etc.

A very nice tribute to Roy. He was an awesome modeler and made it enjoyable too. We will miss him. RIP Roy, thank you for the great memories and fun, also Thank You for your Service to our Country. And BOT has come a long way too, the format and the crew.

We were all very lucky to have met Roy Smith and his railroad. That was a very nice tribute livestream to Roy. Thank you for making it. Roy was loved and will be missed by a lot of model railroaders, not just for his layout but also for his kind heart.

Great show this morning , Here is a rough update for the Bigboy later this year. Heartland of America Tour Big Boy No. 4014 will depart on the "Heartland of America Tour" on Thursday, Aug. 29 from Cheyenne, Wyoming, and travel across nine additional states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. The eight-week tour concludes in late October. No. 4014 will be on display in the following locations: Sunday, Sept. 8: Rochelle, Illinois (Chicago metro area) Sunday, Oct. 6: Houston, Texas Thursday/Friday, Oct. 10-11: Fort Worth, Texas Additional route details with additional whistle stops, display locations and times will be shared closer to the tour. Sounds like everyone, well except for Dennis, is going somewhere. Tomorrow I'll be stopping off to visit Tina Marie (Mojave Railroad) at her model train store she purchased last year in Vegas. Should be a nice dry 115f when I get there, talk about a Warm welcome.
