I am glad I was around and was able to watch those Knick’s teams of the 90’s and 00’s. To win games back then, teams not only had to score, they had to play defense as well. I wouldn’t say the game has evolved, I think it’s more of a change to adapt to the players coming out of college these days who are more offense oriented and had little-to-no defense in their repertoire. Man, those were fun games where you just didn’t watch to see who’d score and win, but also anticipated who’d get a bloody nose or get into a scuffle. And who can forget LJ’s 4-point play to win a playoff game against those same Heat in front of the home crowd?

I think if Knicks get KD that could be a mistake. he is over 30 yrs old and to me he is starting to slowdown. i don't see the explosiveness going to the basket so basically i see more outside shooting and plus on G.S KD does not have to do as much because you have a super team. the East teams will be very physical with KD and if they get kyrie or AD those two guys are injury prone so at the end of season u are not sure they will be healthy enough to play their best in playoffs if they make it
