Doesn't matter, nothing past Wrath of the Litch King is Canon, since Blizzard lost the ability to write good stories. All a bunch of shit fanfiction to squeeze money from addicts. Arthas being freed from having to be the Litch King will forever be the end of WoW to people who actually loved the series.

As in they were both tragic heroes who sought power to protect others but ended up being corrupted monsters who slaughtered anyone who opposed them? Nah I don't see it jk jk 🤣 At least vader somewhat redeemed himself saving luke in ep6. Arthas was denied his chance by a vengeful uther (who realised his mistake afterwards) in shadowlands. Would have loved an arthas redemption arc😢
