What if we want to do tone shaping more without squash? I just want the tone shaping option, I don't need compression. It's a very expensive 209$ plugin. It should at least give users the option to bypass compression :)

For all the people complaining about price: a single project could pay the tool off.

I know subscription services are kinda sus for plugins….but if you guys did one for like $30 a month even (that’s a lot but people would pay it), you would be drowned in dollar bills. For real, you’d be bringing in a couple mill a month easy….cause people are dumb (including me) and would rather pay 20-30 a month than 200 once.

I use multiple instances of soothe on every project. Frankly, it's a miracle worker. Bloom looks incredible and will likely be similarly indispensable. Looking very forward to trying this today.

What is bloom? Definitely not overpriced 🙄

It is Fun on Mixing, it is even MORE fun during Sound Design, it is Fun on Side Chaining, it adds if you want tons of nice colours AND - most important - YOU have the control. Yes, it is not cheap, but it is worth it 😊 One Point I don't like: the Purple GIU, it would great to choose something more decent.

Been using Bloom to tame congestion, honk and ouchies in vocals and acoustic guitars... It does it so musically and undetected in a way that just works!

And...where do we sign up to be a beta tester?

More than 3 minutes of hollywod scripted dialogue and not a single audio demo ? I'm baffled

The GUI is top notch as is the EQ, but there is a big problem applying it to speech. Bloom boosts and attenuates where you would expect it to, but the amounts that it is boosting and attenuating are way off. For instance, it doesn't attenuate anywhere near enough in the lows which results in the mud remaining and it is boosting around 1k way too much on a file that I was using for testing. The boosting around 1k results in a nasaly sound. Given that there are no presets for speech, I'm wondering if it isn't intended for speech?

That ad's almost as smooth as I wish Bloom's price tag was 😅 Seriously though, what makes it worth the premium over something tried-and-true like Gulfoss? Feels like a lot of us would love it, but might just hold out for a better value proposition.

What's that? Nothing new. A marketing ploy to attract attention by price. Everything that 10 plugins that cost a fraction of the price can already do. Izotope, smartEQ, Gullfos, Silk, wavesfactory Equalizer etc.

Haven’t tried the plugin yet but I can see this replacing the need of using a compressor, EQ, and saturation in the chain. Seems like you keep the fidelity of the track while bringing out more life. Going to give it a try 🤙🏽

where in the signal chain would this go? before eq? before comp? after effects? would it go on the master bus or individual tracks? thanks in advance

Took me a bit to fully get it. Found a useful video made by the folks at the ‘Sage Audio’ channel, helped a lot in figuring out what this can do. Awesome, very special 😘👍
