Trek to Rohida Fort / Vichitragad (Part 1)
Rohida Fort, also known as Vichitragad is located near Bhor in Pune, Maharashtra. Built during the Yadav dynasty, it later became part of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Swarajya. The fort was briefly captured by the Mughals in 1666, but Shivaji Maharaj regained it in 1670. The fort stands at 3,668 feet, offering panoramic views of the surrounding region. Known for its historical significance and scenic trekking routes, Rohida Fort is a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts and history buffs alike, symbolizing Maratha strength and resilience.
