The Fifth Direction is a global mythopoetic community. Through meditation, breath, poetry and the telling of ancient stories, we offer an opportunity for people to gather together and reconnect to soul. The Fifth Direction was founded by Asher Packman in 2017 and is stewarded by highly respected teachers from across the world. Contributors include East Forest, Jan Blake, Tyson Yunkaporta, Sophie Strand, Tom Hirons and many others.

Andreas Kornevall: Logos and Dragon-Speak (Warrior Within S2E14)
Author, storyteller and ecologist Andreas Kornevall joined Asher Packman on the Warrior Within podcast for The Fifth Direction in July, 2024.
The two men began by discussing Andreas' childhood in South American and Sweden and his introduction to the mythological world, highlighting the importance of play to sustain and develop the imaginative function.
Andreas introduced the concept of apotheosis (the theme of his upcoming book) as the road between the conscious and unconscious -- and the requirement of a spirit/animal guide (or 'fetch') to act as a psychopomp or 'bridge' that can hold your story as you move between these realms.

wonderful, thank you...I would also say that I feel everyone can access the inner shaman, healer etc, but it does take work and patience to uncover the deeper workings and patterns that often sabotage our innate creativity and power
Agreed. The inner journey requires both patience and courage.
i am not a meditator by any means but lately i have been listening to the familiar and i think ancient sounds of birdcall from my childhood and now againrepeating itself in my old age...aside from the elements themselves, the watter and wind and storms, etc, this birdcall and familiarity throughout my lifetime IS the most spiritual aspect of my being alive...and it requires of me nothing more than having the ears and mind to be aware of this recurring moment
