You've Got A Friend In Me, Arranged by John Berry
Ok that trombone did good doing the bass part but why? Like they have a bass, just make em turn louder like I don't get why u put a trombone on the bass part that is MEANT FOR THE BASS
could have exploded the mic a bit more
tf so many sax
Earrape
Maybe if you asked everyone to play quieter, it would sound better. It sounds nice, but loud right now.
what is this thing the drummer is suppose to play high hat at the second and forth beat, but he's playing on the first and third it sound so weird
think they got enough saxes??
2:08 measure 69
well done leicester!
Well done! I'm about to play this with my band
where are the shakes trumpets, more trumpet!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM IN 8th grade and play louder than that. come on step up trumpets rule the world not just the band
Hey how can I get the music for this?
Omg the quality of this video is horrific, but the part is that this is the only video that I could find of this specific piece
When you include this many players your Jazz Band becomes a Concert Band. Select the best 4 trumpets, 4 saxes, 4 trombones, and a rhythm section and things will improve dramatically.
jesus christ im sure the band is good but the audio quality is so terrible i cant listen to this
i’m playing this and i’m in 8th grade 😂
Phoebe Jones I’m playing it in 7th
Just way too much instruments in here it’s to much noise
Our school jazz band is playing this song and I have the solo!!! I am terrified of playing it!!
You're all in university but I play this and I'm only in pre school fucksake guys
Honestly sounds big, there's way too many awful instruments
Awful sounds honestly, instruments too big
Big instruments doing too big things owwie
Honesty sounds awful. There's way too many instruments.
They accept everyone into the group as there is no music degree program so they don't audition. So to avoid disappointment and encourage everyone to enjoy playing as a hobby, they let everyone play when they play in spaces large enough to allow it. This makes way for a very happy band and a wall of sound, thanks for your concern though, but honestly, they're doing just great! Even played at The Royal Albert Hall this month!
Martha O'Sullivan that's good and all but this particular piece is meant for a smaller amount of instruments
@@jogjog7317 we are well aware that big band pieces are meant for one per part don't worry! And that's all good and well, but as I've just said, they let everyone in the band play when the space allows it, which is a great thing to do! So it'd be so cruel to force some people not to play because 'it's meant for fewer instruments' as I'm sure you'd agree! Why not try and go to one of their many sold out gigs that they put on throughout the year and air your concerns there?
@@jogjog7317 I agree, I prefer it to be played with no instruments
Martha O'Sullivan But wouldn’t having people know that they can be kicked off if they’re not up to par encourage people to practice and strive to be better? If you know that no matter how much practice you put into the instrument, you’ll never get kicked from the band, so you won’t practice, whereas if you know that if you don’t practice then someone will take your spot, then you’ll practice and try to be better. I could be wrong, everyone here could have the greatest work ethic ever imagined, but that’s just my thoughts.
You're playing thia in university but I'm in high school and we play it in our band
Good for you man!
Really proud of you
@@OfCatsAndWomen thanks! Our teacher wasn't sure if we could make it for the Christmas concert. We did it! He says we are the best group he ever had since a long time ;)
Our &th grade jazz band is playing this at our concert and I love! I play the baritone saxophone!
that guy on the bongos looked so sad during the drum solo...
wow nice job
OOF THAT TROMBONE 😯
Am i rushing or draging?
very well done
