[Statistics with R] 15 - N-Way ANOVA for M-Sample Means
Просмотров 112Год назад
We look at 3-way ANOVA here. With this, we can extend the same method to anything more than 2-factors to 3 or more factors. Collectively, this is known as N-way ANOVA.
[Statistics with R] 14 - 2-Way ANOVA for N-Sample Means
Просмотров 401Год назад
We will show you both additive and multiplicative models of 2-way ANOVA.
[Statistics with R] 13 - 1-Way ANOVA for N-Sample Means
Просмотров 386Год назад
We are going to use 1-way ANOVA to compare means of more than 2 samples, then using TukeyHSD (Tukey Honest Significant Differences) as an alternative to pairwise t-tests to identify which sample(s) are significantly different from the rest.

Просмотров 101Год назад
Outline of topic: 1. Describe the scenarios applicable to applied science that are suitable to apply linear regression 2. Compute the parametric and nonparametric linear correlation coefficient for any given set of data 3. Describe the relationship between the pair of data from the results 4. Present experimental data graphically 5. Other regression methods
Topic 2 - Determine whether a given data set is normally distributed

Outline of topics: 1. Compare between normally distributed data and non-normally distributed data 2. Construct the null and alternative hypotheses for a given scenario 3. Outline the steps involved in hypothesis testing 4. Perform normality tests on a given data set
Topic 1 - Present the distribution of a given set of data in various ways

Calculate the range, inter-quartile range, standard deviation, and standard error of a given set of data 4. State the Central Limit Theorem 5. [Statistics with R] 10 - Subsetting Data
Просмотров 502 года назад
Quite often in R, we need to extract or filter a dataset based in certain value(s) in one or more columns. We can achieve this by subsetting. In this video, I will explain how subsetting can be done.
[Statistics with R] 9 - Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test

In this video, we look at Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, which is the non-parametric equivalent of paired t-test.
[Statistics with R] 8 - Mann Whitney U Test
Просмотров 3982 года назад
2-samples t-tests (both equal and unequal variances) are parametric tests, which assumes that the data is normally distributed. What happens if the data is not normally distributed? We will have to use the non-parametric equivalent of 2-samples t-test, which is Mann Whitney U Test. In this video, we will look at Mann Whitney U Test, also known as Mann Whitney Wilcoxon Test or Wilcoxon Rank-Sum ...
