I've been following Brandon Howard for a while now. I think it's a strong possibility that he is the son of Michael Jackson. He bares a strong resemblance to Michael as a teen/young man. The mannerism is undeniable. B. Howard seems to be humble and has carve his own way in the entertainment business. I agree that he will make a better pick, but can't wait to see what Jafar brings (he favors Michael, but looks more like his father Jermain).

Howard was born in 1981. Way before the thriller period. Josrph was managing his mom. Knowing Joseph not to great human being, I think Joseph was the father which explains her attitude when journalists bring up the resemblance.

I saw it on my Turkish Airlines flight two weeks ago, it’s definitely not possible to squeeze his life into a short movie. I hated how they didn’t make his separation with his wife clear so their interactions were dry. It would’ve been interesting to see the moment they decide not to be together and just remain band mates/co-parents

This is my favorite movie OAT. I would love to play either Hannah or McCauley. Mann give me a shot man!!!!

I’m curious to know if you think “better”actors would have made Tyler’s writing and directing come across better. I think the performances are more a result of Tyler’s writing and directing. I doubt more veteran award-winning actors, like Denzel, Viola or Aunjanue would make his writing and directing come across better.

I just finished the audio book, Yes the man reading it does a phenomenal job! Not too excited over Driver and Chalamet playing either part. That’s my only concern about the film.

Just because this movie may not be his best can't take away from his talent and his other work as a producer/actor. Nobody complains about the Lifetime movies that have the same plot about the wrong roommate the wrong teacher the wrong boyfriend the wrong nanny. And most Lifetime movies don't show many movies with blacks. And there's other actors that have done the same thing with the same plots

Tiresome being a woman lead for the reasons you gave

Hollywood doesn't count horror as female leads. It seems. Its a standard expectation.

The Lead always being a woman, I chalked up to that Alien movies are structured as slasher films in space. There are a ton, I think, slasher movies in the 70s and 80s that have women as the main protagonist. So....since they were sorta copying that slasher trope, they also copied that aspect. I guess they didn't want to mess with the formula.

Omg. This is the absolute worst. The characters, the writing, the direction and thus the acting too, all terrible. Simply nothing good about it

The movie is so campy and in my opinion, everyone's acting was atrocious, even Debbi Morgan's at times. I realize what and who they had to work with, so I'm definitely giving the veterans a pass. Actors just want to act. This movie was a happy accident and I mean that to say it failed as a drama, but was a successful comedy movie.

Huge Bob Marley fan here; finally saw it & I still can’t believe what a let down that was. That was a joke. I wouldn’t know where to begin to critique this film but it hurt me to my core & I’m still hurt behind this one. My baby boy (1year old) loves to watch the live performances & now every time I watch (everyday/multiple times) I’m reminded of how BAD the film was. I almost had a moment with the “Natural Mystic” scene but they ruined that by cutting it short. I’m just still in total disbelief at the lack of information & how rushed the film seemed and how it only covered 1 moment of time in his life. I would’ve been pissed if I’d paid money to see that. I agree with you 100% bro. I simply had to go watch a couple reviews just to make sure that I wasn’t being too harsh but I honestly can’t pick out one part of the movie that stands out as a favorite part or moment that sent chills through my body. I simply expected so much more & It’ll take me a very long time to forgive who gave this film the green light. I couldn’t believe my eyes. You let me & my son down big time!

Ai yai yai......... I grew tired of Tyler Perry's movies for a while now. Almost all his movies share the same plot line. I hasn't watch his movies for a while now until today. My girl introduced me to it, out of curiosity I went ahead and watched it, I shouldn't have. Same old thing. Tyler Perry has a writer's Block he needs to come up with new different material. After so many years he can't give us something, something new....... It's either Tyler Perry has too many YES ppl, or his team don't want to question or challenge him. I hope Tyler takes critical thoughtfulness in his future projects or he's gonna loose his fan base, ijs........

I had a lot of fun with this movie! Some story struggles and plot issues for sure but the chemistry between Ryan and Hugh soared and the characters of Deadpool and Wolverine as this odd couple through this multiversal adventure was what made this movie worked. I don’t think it saved the MCU, but it put a nice button on the end of the Fox Marvel franchise while being hilarious and 100% authentically Deadpool. Great review!

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm a huge Whitney fan also, and I held off on watching this movie until last night. I really wanted to love it , but it was so hard to get into. It did seem like a bunch of little snippets strung together with no cohesion. She deserved a better tribute.
