@StalkingTheStrip I stayed at the Rio, did the kiosk check-in, and received a text message to my phone just like the one you showed at 0:36. How did you know which tower to go to just from the room number? I walked around for a while trying to figure it out before I finally found an employee to help me. Maybe it's obvious if you've been to the Rio before? But I was confused and lost.

People were thinner back in the day. lol

Just stayed there for 4 days over Christmas. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was fine except for the facing to the expressway, so the road noise was def noticeable. There is not a coffee maker in the room so bring your own, we always do when travelling....(you can't get overpriced crappy coffee till 7am) Bathroom was just fine, heat worked just fine and the beds were VERY comfortable. The room was clean. Casino is probably one of the cleanest in Vegas besides the Wynn, but no comps after dropping 1K . The buffet was downright nasty with cold breakfast meats and powdered eggs. The Triple 7 restaurant had great food and craft beers at reasonable Vegas prices, but not open for breakfast. If you want a decent breakfast, take a 5 minute walk and go to the Hash House a Go Go in the Plaza Hotel just up the street on the same side. Hang a left as you enter the main entrance.

Thanks for the review. I enjoy eating at Magnolia’s. The wait service has been pretty good there. 4Q’s is a gem of a hotel and casino.

Mid-strip, mid-condition, but mid-price! LOL, I think Gordon Ramsay makes up for the cost of gas with savings on Windex.

More ammo as to why I enjoy staying at Cosmo.

The Four Queens is a dump. I worked at the Fremont in 1995, and back then Four Queens was a lot nicer. I don’t think they’ve done anything to it in thirty years.😢

We just did this and I have to agree with you 100% on this review. It was my fault for not paying better attention but I thought I was paying for 18 holes vs 9 but either way $30 a person was expensive and I have no idea why there were 9 security people at the front door.

Just another money GRAB for a short period of time in Vegas.....hurry get out so we get the next suckers...

I stayed in original room #9 back on St. Patrick's Day! It was definitely an experience and I'm glad I did it once.

I stopped going to the strip because I feel like I'm getting ripped off wherever I go. I got a free ticket to a concert I had to pay to park so free concert equals 50 bucks yeah cost 50 bucks now to park at MGM properties. I also paid $10 for a bottle of water smaller than my hand. Every time you make a left hand turn somebody needs $20 for something I don't like the strip. It's annoying.

thanks, we have a lovely mini golf in our town. A man retired and built one in his front yard. Our grandson was sad that after we had played the ice cream was not open for another half hour. He was only 3. The owner, had his helper open up early. I was almost in tears, as it was the perfect ending to yet another visit to the best (and probably least expensive) mini golf in the world.

If you're looking for Value if you're going to Las Vegas you're in the wrong place not even the buffets are value like they used to back in the day. You can go to the Fremont downtown and have a decent Buffet which is considered lower end and it's still way too expensive. Four people going to a buffet in Vegas is going to run you about 200 bucks depending on the casino

I think if customers are asked for gratuity, then we should ask who it's for. Gratuity is "a bonus, extra, gift" for excellent service. ❤

Back before electricity, Binion's was the only place I've ever seen a shill in the craps pit. When I spent more times in the pit a few lives ago, i thought that Binion's was the truest place to shoot dice, the ambiance was like no other. I've been looking for a reasonably priced budget (but not Motel 6) to stay, your review has placed the Hotel Apache on my short list. How safe did you feel parking in the parking structure?
