That is how most of North America writes the date. Different countries have different conventions for dates and times. Some of them don't even speak the same language as you! (I know that may be a shock, sorry about that) Heaven forbid you ever go to Japan! You would never survive the confusion. Apart from using a completely different convention for dates, they don't even use the same alphabet! I can just imagine your posts: "Those aren't real words. They don't even use real letters!"

James was a beautiful person, his moral compass was true north, his compassion, integrity, love for his family , son's family, grandchild, his parents and sisters especially M, was even more than the amazing Captain J. MacDonald who positively impacted so many lives. I shall pass this on to his beloved M. Thank you so much for this glimpse into an amazing man's life well lived. Physically he may be gone, but his actions that resulted in wonderful memories will stay with us forever.

Major storm. They said the boat hit a big waive and then when we came out of it, we listed. We listed for about 5 minutes.

I believe they somewhat did, but they threw them together fast. The rogue wave I think is what made things worse when the ship sorta listed.@@designdoctor247
